Want to get a new mob but dont want to pay over the odd no iphone 6 or galaxy s5 ??

I have an old samsung s3 that i bought new nearly 4 years ago , at the moment i have a pay monthly sim from virgin with unlimited calls texts and data, when im out and about data not that great havent had 3g for ages and all pretty slow think there limiting the speed i get, anyway want a new mob probably will stick with android mob whats best mob out there android wise is it HTC One M8, want something with decent camera fast with apps etc and and one that i can put sd memory card in any advice would be most appreciated ??

Are these mobs from china as good as say samsung galaxy alpha and htc one m8 ?

also want a mob with a better battery, my samsung s3 been great but battery very poor no chance of getting a days use out of it anymore,
