It's version "138d" of this emulator..... have you added your own mgcamd config files for the cam to work???? the files that have been posted are not the same as the cam packs that are made up and posted which do include working configs etc that you would find in the emulator section.....
mgcamd 1.38d for various images..

the cam script is wrong for openpli 4
just use the cam script in post 5 and it will work
or download the script below
unzip and ftp softcam.mgcamd to /etc/init.d
chmod 755
no need to set a path to the config files in the script
as mg_cfg does it with T: { 00 }
# config files folder (softcam, autoroll, ignore/priority)
# 00 files in /var/keys
# 01 files in /tmp
T: { 00 }

Hi all I have a problem with zgemma openpli 4.0 with mgcam function not will not start how do I so correct mgcam? Thanks in advance
When you say will not start can you be a little more specific --what image are you using --when you go to softcam manager and you select mgcamd does it come back with a message mgcamd starting --and when you say it is not starting are you trying to watch channels and it is not decrypting
thanks to the use OpenPLi responded with 4.0 zgemma and mgcam does not make me see the channels in coding instead if I get married in the softcam ccam you see scrambled channels. if instead I use poenatv with magcam ok

now he works is active but do not see the picture I restart the decoder and then again even if I remain soft cam you do not see the image only if you reboot the decoder
When you say you do not see image -are you using a card or a share from a friend-have you entered details correct if a share in newcamd.list like this
CWS_KEEPALIVE = 300
CWS_INCOMING_PORT = 21000
CWS = 192.168.1.2 20000 20005 10 02 13 04 15 06 17 08 01 10 11 12 13 14
note the 192.168.1.2. is fake as is 20000 and 20005 replace these with line details
CWS_KEEPALIVE = 300
CWS_INCOMING_PORT = 21000
CWS = 192.168.1.1 20000 dummy dummy 10 02 13 04 15 06 17 08 01 10 11 12 13 14 lan server1
CWS_MULTIPLE = 192.168.1.2 20000:20005 dummy dummy 10 02 13 04 15 06 17 08 01 10 11 12 13 14 lan server2
I have so what should I change?
because if you do then not softcam sestar most and I have to reboot to see channel decoder? Thanks a lot dear

Yes, the location for the binary (mgcamd_1.38d) is usually /usr/bin, but may be different depending on the image used. You would also need to change the permissions / attributes on mgcamd_1.38d file to 755..

Thanks! Sorry to be a nuisance, there's 18 items in the usr/keys folder provided in zip. Do all of them need to be FTP'd?
