It depends how you want to use an emulator on whether it`s worth it or not..

Oscam is a far superior compared to CCcam or mgcamd. You have a lot more options to fine tune or tweak settings for your server..

If you are only a peer / client and the server you use is stable you won`t notice much difference which emulator you use.

Unless you are experiencing problems with CCcam or mgcamd there isn`t much point moving to oscam..

The converter does still work. But it creates some unecessary parameters. Remove the following:

cccversion=2.1.2
inactivitytimeout=1
reconnecttimeout=30
lb_weight=100
cccmaxhops=10
ccckeepalive=1
cccwantemu=0

If you used the converter then you should be able to see where these parameters are in the [reader] (look in the box below after converting the c line).

If you don`t remove them, you may have trouble getting the reader to work properly.

A basic reader is all that is required.. The converted c line / reader will work without the above values.

If you need to use the converter then you are likely a newbie to oscam, so you shouldn`t be adding unnessery values if you don`t understand what they are for..

I`ve replied to countless threads all with the same problem, as soon as they remove the above values their readers work.

Which receiver and image is being used ?

oscam can do what mgcamd does, you don`t need both. We can help conigure that part.
