  • Activated my 12 month mtv unlimited card yesterday but oscam is saying my entitlement expires today. Surely that's not normal?

Anyone? my entitlement has expired now and it's suppose to be a 12 month card!

Edited once, last by ste141 ().

  • Everything you have posted is perfectly normal with this card buddy...... even though you only activated the card yesterday the expiry date for 31/03/2015 is correct, the card will receive new emm's every month until your 12 month activation code expires. Watch over the next couple of days and you will see the new emm's arrive... or leave it on the MTV unlimited channel overnight for the new emm for the April expiry date to be written.

  • Sorry to drag up an old post but did this ever work? Mine is doing exactly the same (showing no entitlements) and my configs are identical.

I have entitlements that expire 01-01-1990. EMM's are being received but nothing seems to be updating.

  • it does work bud ,,,I found best /quickest channel to receive emms is mtv music 24..
If box is full restarted on this channel the requests are immediate..

You sir are a hero !! thirty seconds after tuning to MTV24 it works. I activated in using spark to make sure it got activated correctly. Just walked the code into E2 and that also works. Im assuming it doesn't need new entitlements until my pre-paid subscription ends or does au need to be set to on?

    Thanks

  • The entitlements will update every month until your sub ends.... So yes you will need au set to on.

  • Just wondering: I missed the Feb 1st update and the channels stopped clearing. Moved my dish to 19.2 and let it sit there for 20 mins or so and they came back but oscam is still reporting 'no entitlements' but the channels clear fine (box doesn't have any clines on it so it's not them). Any ideas?

Out of interest what does dvbapi actually do and do I need any mtv reference in there?

Did you re-init the card after update? Tiers are only read during init.

dvbapi handles the necessary dvb stuff like extraction of ECM / EMM / CAT from stream and sets the controlwords into the descrambler.
