Description

Vu+ Player HD is an Android app designed to allow you to control and stream from your Vu+ satellite receivers, either from the same network as the receiver, or from a remote location.

Basis System Requirements

- Android version 3.2 or better. (ver 4.0 over recommended)

- Android mobile or tablet device. (tablet recommended)

- Stable 802.11g/n Wi-Fi connection between both Vu+ Set Top Box and Android device. (802.11n strongly recommended)

Features

- Live TV streaming directly from your all Vu+ set top box

- Transcoding support (for Vu+ Solo2, Vu+ Duo2 and Vu+ SoloSE)

- Play recorded files directly from your Vu+ set top box(duo2, solo2)(HD channels supported)

- Most video formats are supported (AVI, MKV, MP4, TS, etc.)

- Fast & Easy set-up process

- Automatic configuration detecting connected Vu+ devices

- Capture screenshots from live TV

- Bouquets editor supported

You would think so!....but have tried various combinations and still cant get it.

Yeah, I can find it on the Apple iTunes store (for the iPad) but not anywhere for Android

iv noticed that when you stream from the new app on the play store that it will only stream the current channel being watched on the box, anybody else having this same issue? iv been using the other app not available on the play store and i have no problems with it.

Just check that you have enabled dual tuner (if it thinks you only have one tuner then you would get the behaviour you describe).

cant find where i would enable dual tuner?? the only thing i can see close to it is in the box info option, it says i have two tuners (even though i have 3)

ok i want to apoligise for my ignorance! i now see where to enable dual tuner (its on the configuration page labeled 'no zap before streaming ON/OFF') and all i had to do was click ON. simple. Yes thanks very much for this app it works like a dream. I bought an android mini pc dongle and i downloaded the app onto it and i can now watch whatever channel i want in the other room, without the need for another set top box or cables, for me its brilliant!
