DTT Avermedia A867 USB Tuner Driver

    avermedia a867 is a DTT tuner usb.
    italysatdtt driver worked well with iCVS-Image-DM800se-06.09.2011 + GP3.
    Today I installed DM800SE RELEASE 3.2.0 and the driver no longer works
    Only the free channels are displayed, while, tuning an encrypted channel, the TV screen remain black.
    If the driver is disabled, all channels (except, of course, the digital terrestrial channels) are properly displayed.
    How can I fix this or where can I find alternative drivers ?

    Yes technically you are right it should not make any difference but literally it works!


    Try a reflash of the image and download the driver (make sure its the correct driver) via the ItalySatDTT Downloader which is found via the TS Panel..


    I'm only guiding you on past experiences!

    I also have the plugin ItalySatDTT Downloader, can I use this or do I need to use TS Panel ?

    I flashed the box with new image and installed the drivers in the new image without success.
    Sorry, are we talking about the same image release-dm800se-3.2.0.nfi ?

    you can use itlalySatDTT M8 choose the driver for your USB and reboot

    Are you using the right driver for the usb dvb-t chipset?


    I used the driver Avermedia A867 because i have pen Avermedia A867.
    The problem is that the driver works with image ICVS (Gemini + GP3), but does not work with official image (Gemini + GP3)

    You have all drivers auto-install via the "Ferrari Addon Manager 5.0" also... simple, you go to the "DM boxe Drivers" section and select the one you use, install and "voila", it works.


    Search with Google, the "Ferrari Addon Manager" ipk file and install manually (upload to /tmp with FTP, then install via Telnet with command "ipkg install "+ Name of file.ipk).
