dead wetek?

hi there,

Since i try to update my wetek my box not working anymore.
I try several recovery images.
but nothing happends, i only get a black screen.

I had a similar problem when i wrote mSD image to NAND memory. WeTek support gave me this https://mega.co.nz/#fm/UYxBXaLK
there is a tutorial inside and you don't need to open the box and connect pins, just follow all other instructions.

i too had more or less the same problem, i still havent fixed it and that includes the shorting of the 2 pins

ps link does not work, and if possible can another link be used ie uploaded to this site

still need to send commands via putty aswell yeah , just killed one of my wetek doing nand upgrade oops

* Power off your device and unplug the AC power cord.
* Download the recovery zip (below you will find the up to date version).
* Unzip the downloaded zip (you can delete the META-INF folder).
* Copy the downloaded zip and the freshly unzipped recovery.img to a MicroSD card.
* Now insert the MicroSD card in your STB.
* Plug the AC power cord while you keep pressed the little reset pinhole (located on the bottom of the device) for 10 seconds (just count slowly to ten and it will be good).
* The device should have booted to CWM recovery.

sorted i ddi the tutorial linkd above ^^^^^^ i had done this earlier today but had not ran program as admin skoolboy i know but sometyms yah cant see the trees for the woods in it is sunday after all :)

i just noticed after first run i did not have the correct DEVICE MODE in top right and after run by admin hrs later it was indeed there ,
whole process toook say about 5-10 mins , i did delete all options in box middle right then restart prog and add recover file again

dead wetek?
