vu+duo red light

My electricity went this morning so i went and put some in now when i turn my vu duo on it just stays on red light is there anyway of me sorting this problem out or is my duo dead?

I would also check if it was a local blackout then you might want to look at your house insurance....
Firstly I would try reflashing with your most recent backup..

powerdown VU and leave it off in unplugged for at least 30 mins then reboot VU
i have had same thing happen and my HDMI never worked again after was a full street powercut
i cant remember if i had to reflash VU or not but im 75% sure i did have to though

If you have any USB or HDD connected, try disconnecting these in case they are causing an issue.. Same thing happened to my duo and it wouldn`t come back until i removed the USB drive..

Thanks guys i done the capasitor change and now all working. It was the red light of death i think
