Hi fellow members was looking to invest in one off the android boxes but it's a mountain of them out there can anyone give me advice of good one at a fair price to purchase and where to purchase them with Lodi installed already as no really to up to date on them at moment

Go with the Minix X8-H Plus, i have both the Minix and the Wetek and find the Android side of the Wetek not up

to the standards of the Minix.In fairness gaz31, they are both different. The Minix is only and android box and no satellite side of things. Minix also has new units that are more powerful than the x8-h.

In fairness the Wetek is also not particularly great at the moment. Quite a few users have been either disappointed or quickly frustrated with it.

rubbish ekkostar, if you cannot get one of several images from different platforms working on the Wetek then you can't or won't learn, then buy an off the shelf m8 with kodi already setup with basic progs.

Exactly what happened to me,sold it!! Will wait for the new octa core version coming out later this year..

I'm afraid you seem to have confirmed the point. Many users simply cannot get on with it.

tried lots of android boxes,great idea but very buggy.Last box I had was an evo xfinity and tv side was geat,also had xbmc embed in firmware but
the support sucked which is a shame as it was almost perfect but after a while they just drive you crazy.Have now got vu+duo2 as I feel this is the
way to go and the support is great
