Few questions on the OBH 0.1

Hi,

I have a few support questions on the Open Black Hole 0.1 that I hope someone can help me fix or point me in the right direction.

1. When I power off the Telly the box also switches off. When the box updated the EPG or channel list during the night it also switches on the telly. The box then goes back into standby by the telly does not. How do I disable the box putting the telly into standby also?

2. Channel selection issue - At the bottom or the channel selection window (pressing up or down on the remote) there is an option to press 3 to see Multi EPG. This worked fron on the BH software but now it just takes me to channel 3 on the list rather than opening the EPG.

3. Enhanced Movie Center - Anyone know how to get this working on this version of the software? I get the [cannot import name EMCCurrentService]

4. How do I install the .ipk files in the tmp folder now on this image and what is the Linux code to do this via tenet for *.ipk in the folder?

5. Anyone know how to get XBMC or KODI working on this image as it does not work and Green Screens?

1. Press menu button > Setup > System > HDMI CEC Setup > All of the issues you are having can be configured here..

2. Press EPG button then Blue button for multi EPG..

4. ipk files are installed exactly the same way on black hole & open black hole. FTP ipk to /tmp > green button > yellow button > manually install ipk packages.
Or ftp to /tmp folder then run this in telnet for any ipk file:

5. KodiDirect plugin is the only way to get xbmc/kodi working on Vu+duo.

Hi

I have tried to install Kodi and the python required. This gave me a "No Space Left of device" message so I rolled back and flashed the box to the OBH backup from Honcho in case this was just a space issue. Even after rolling it back and trying to install this first I get the below errors. Can someone advise what I am doing wrong or what I need to do to get this installed correctly without running out of space.

The files I am installing in the tmp directory are:

python-imaging_1.1.7-r5_mips32el.ipk
enigma2-plugin-extensions-kodidirect_2.0-r32-20150728_all.ipk
python-image_2.7.3-r0.3_mips32el.ipk

Type free in telnet to see if you have enough space left in flash to install anything else.

I have rolled back to the start of the OHB image again to give me room. The free command does this.

I highlighted the part of your post to look at.. You have just over 3 MB space available.. The KodiDirect plugin is 7.63 MB.. You should consider using PluginSkinMover..
