Wetek Play PBnigma v.5 enigma2 with kodi and xbmc

Well now this box is starting to see its full potential, great work here by the PBnigma team....
Both tuners working

- This is still something like 'pre-Release Candidate/post Alpha' or really deep and dark Beta release!
- Fixes are *likely* to be issued on a daily basis. Sometimes more often, sometimes not.
- New E2 remote control unit is favored over the original RC (fixes coming soon).
- Some things like native media support for E2 worked better in PB 4.3, some things are much better in PB 5.x releases...
- Please check PB-Wetek.PDF for some specifics as compared to MIPS PB releases.

- In other words, internal E2 player, MP and MP2 are just for custom tests, pls do not use them for now.
- XBMC is at the moment meant to use original WeTek remote control unit, mouse mode. With Kodi, we plan to have better RC support.
- On a 1st start XMBC might be less responsive due to updates.
- Kodi 15.x is being polished, should be in PB feeds soon. Work in progress.
- Channel lists from Ciefp and Vhannibal are likely to be up to date, as well as Oscam (and emu).
- Inital boot (the very 1st one) may take some time as your SD card is partitioned and formatted.
- Warning: When mounting USB based media (sticks, HDDs) in PB device manager, please use /media/usbX path, i.e. try to avoid /media/hdd for now!
- As PB does not like automount stuff, after inserting USB stick/HDD restart of E2 might be needed. For now.

Its running great mate, slightly slower than nand but then everything works without me getting up and pushing sd cards in to make something work.
I can honestly say i have not been happy with my box until i loaded this on to it. This is how it should be, XBMC with E2 or actually E2 with XBMC and Kodi...
Will test on motorised dish tomorrow and upload a backup if time permits....

Memory fills up with artwork, im using both remotes, E2 for the E2 side and openelec remote for kodi and xbmc. Simply exit back to bpnigma, mine dosn't need to reboot. Remember its still work in progress, im happy enough though.

In short:
- Kodi 15.1 included
- XBMC 13.2 still there as some may prefer its playback of 29.9xx/23.9xx FPS. We would be grateful on some feedback on this subject. Please do note your TV unit settings; game/pc/turbo enhance/sport etc. It could make a lot of PQ/BQ difference.
- Samba -> NAS works fine in Kodi, for NFS, at the moment, 1st mount a NFS volume from E2, then root from Kodi. As always YMMV.
- New E2 RC/FB unit is preferred for now except in Kodi/XBMC where only the original RC/FB works, either in mouse or buttonMode.
- E2 media programs like internal PVR, MP or MP2 are there only for testing purposes. Media playback is preferred to be done by Kodi/XBMC. You might need a reboot if E2 media players are used on certain files!
- Please do read about USB sticks/HDDs and mounting them as /media/usb via PB Device Manager. An E2 restart may be required for now after inserting an USB device. We are not in love with automount business for various tech reasons.
- Temporary removal of USB media should be done via USB eject plugin, permanent via PB device manager. Failure of following this, rather simple, procedure might spoil your media.
- Issues with some transponders are well known, work in progress (as many other stuff).
- Same goes for better support for the original (elipsoid) RC/FB.
- We are aware of (most) problems and working on them.
- FTP/telnet/ssh default password is 'powerboard'
- NAND version not planned at this stage. If ever.
- Reflash needed, simple online update won't do, probably reasonable to do a backup of your settings to an USB stick and do restore after flashing your micro SD card.
