Guys,
I've had enigma 2 received for a while including both 500hd and 800se. I'm now dealing with a e-star 800se that simply refuses to get flashed.
I installed a few add ons that crashed the machine so I wanted to reflash it to get back to square one. However, the little bugger does not complete the flash and looks bricked to me.
I tried everything, flashing from browser, from optiflasher via lan AND via serial (USB ). Nothing. It uploads the image, than does not finalise it.
Any ideas??

i suppose that you use only flash for Estar !!!! do you ?
with only : ESTAR DreamUP 1337.exe ?
with optiflasher with MUST says the prog that it is an Estar sim !!!!!

could try a diff sim card if all fails? A8P or Sim-2

Also has a Estar800se it run perfectly, but I also had problems with flashing.
It is important to use the right version at DreamUp. Here works 1.3.3.4 and not others.
Likewise, the image you use be specifically Estar.
