You can setup the static ip address either within the Vu+ by Menu > Setup > System > Network > Device Setup > Adapter settings and change Use DHCP to no.

You can also setup a static ip address for the Vu+ in your router settings.
You will need to open a port so people can access your CCcam server, look at portforward.com for details on how to open a port for your router.
Either add your no ip hostname details to the router or use the no ip update client for keeping your server online.
Remember as you are VIP you have msn and teamviewer support, so if you get stuck dont hesitate to ask.

Sounds like you have setup another duplicate account in oscam.user. For example;

The problem is the smartcard clock frequency, its configured to be read in the top slot of a receiver.
Change it to, SMARTCARD CLOCK FREQUENCY: /dev/ttyUSB0 3430000

The problem was configs ( device reader path )
All working good now so thread closed.

Sounds like your hdd is not mounted yet, set the mountpoint then change recording paths to hdd the same way you setup the usb stick.

Afraid not mate, you could add a usb tuner but i am unsure how well they perform with the 800.

Just used this to take a backup of ViX image and it worked a treat.
I added the 3 usb files to /media/hdd/nfi and ran the script. Make sure your usb drive is mapped to media/usb or the script wont be able to save the NFI file.

I`ve added an NFI version for everyone who would like to try this image in multiboot.

and executed the script with the remote

and the file "image.nfi" will be in

"/ media / usb / MbootUpload"

image.nfi then changed the name as you wish.

I have just reflashed this backup using the file from the site and it works. Try a differant usb drive if you can, also disconnect any other connected usb devices. Download the file and extract, click on the vix 2.2_sly ready backup_25.06.11 folder and copy the vuplus folder to the usb drive.

There has been over 160 downloads of this backup and you are the first to say it wont load. Make sure you have formatted your usb stick, then add the vuplus folder. Insert the USB drive in the front slot and power on the Vu+DUO.

Sorry to ask again but can you post or pm me your complete oscam configs you are using.

You dont put just the 3 files on the usb, you need to put the vuplus folder on there or it will not flash.

You can use a USB to Serial 9-Pin Male Adaptor instead of the null modem cable. Have you tried flashing the USB version of the image yet ?
