Click on the local card tab in cccam info.

No need to open a port if you are going to be using oscam as card reader and CCcam as server. If you wanted to use oscam as server you would need to open the port so you can share n lines.

Hi jojo36, change the port in oscam.conf and match it to the n line. Each protocol needs a separate port or they will conflict. So leave your server listen port as 14000 and change the newcamd port to something else.

Want to find what secondstage bootloader you have in your clone send by telnet this :

ipkg list | grep second

Sometimes we like the image but we do not like the image bootlogo

We can easily change the bootlogo by one personal or any other logo

dm800 and generally enigma2 boxes have 6 logos

1-Initial bootlogo : this one appears immediately at initial reboot and lasting about 40 seconds and before appearance of meoboot or barry allen menu
the file responsible for this is boot/bootlogo.jpg

2-The logo appears after the initial bootlogo and lasting depend upon the image from 1-3 minutes and the file responsible for this logo /usr/share/bootlogo.mvi

3-this logo follows the second one and called bootlogo_wait and located in usr/share/bootlogo_wait.mvi

4-Logo appear as background for the image and appear when restart enigma and called /usr/share/backdrop.mvi

5-usr/share/radio.mvi appears when playing radio channels

6-usr/share/switchoff.mvi appears when shutdown the dream

all these logos can be changed with what we like easily

first logo bootlogo.jpg can be replaced by any pc picture with extension jpg and importantly dimensions should be 1280*720 pixels

and copy this pc picture by dcc or any ftp program to folder /boot in dreambox

adjustment in dimension can be done by the defualt windows program paint brush or if you want dimension adjustment with adding effects,texts or other to the picture you can use fantastic software snagit

other bootlogos are special video files with extension mvi

we can convert any pc image to mvi by the software called Dream Logo Generator_Dreambox 800/8000 and again importantly the image should be 1280*720 pixels before conversion to mvi
after conversion of your images to mvi transfer these mvi files by dcc or any ftp program to folder usr/share/ and replace the existing file by yours

To view mvi files in pc use windows media classic in win xp enviroment or windows media player in win 7

### How to Create .ipk Packages for Enigma2 Receivers

This guide explains how to unpack and repack `.ipk` plugin files on Enigma2-based receivers using the `ipkg-tools`.

#### **Prerequisites**

1. **Install the IPKG Tools:**

Transfer the `enigma2-plugin-extensions-opkg-tools_1.4_xxxxx.ipk` file to `/tmp` on your receiver.

Install it via the image menu or via Telnet with:

opkg install -force-overwrite /tmp/*.ipk

2. **Restart the receiver.**

After installation, the `ipkg-tools` folder will be available at `/media/hdd/ipkg-tools`.

#### **Step 1: Access the Tools**

Telnet into your receiver and navigate to the tools directory:

cd /media/hdd/ipkg-tools

#### **Step 2: Unpack an .ipk File**

To extract the contents of an existing `.ipk` file:

ipkg-unbuild example-plugin.ipk

This will create a folder with the plugin’s contents.

#### **Step 3: Repack a Folder into .ipk**

ipkg-build folder-name

*Note: Do not add `.ipk` to the folder name in the command.*

All `.ipk` files and folders you intend to unpack or repack must be placed inside `/media/hdd/ipkg-tools` before running the commands.

Well that's your choice mate, but sooner or later the time will come that no channels will clear using cccam alone. My advice to you is to persist & start using oscam asap.

I am guessing either you have entered the boxkey incorrectly or have the wrong boxkey entered.
E.g in cccam boxkey 12 34 56 78 is entered in oscam as 12345678.
Use this tool to double check the code you have entered and disable all lines referring to card reader in cccam.cfg.

I am guessing the boxkey is entered incorrectly in that case.

It should arrive tomorrow mate, will let you know.

As far as i know that will do it mate, there are others here who go down this route i am sure they will advise you better than i can.

CCcam is more than cable of its own emu work so there is no reason to allow your peer this.
Keep the load on your server to the minimum.
