correct stevejo, alot of people think my box has gone tits up (fake or not) ill want i want i want otherwise i will report you. please explain what was the purpose of the box, ummmmmmm let me see to learn spanish, french german ect on there fta stations. all you have to do m8 is be nice to people and we all get along fine, instead of threats and demands.

if he had bought the receiver knowing it was a clone then yes he could go about it very differently, but to be first sold a clone as a original unit, then to be told it was his fault for updating the image so he's basically screwed and the seller is washing his hands of it, is not only morally wrong but legally too.

at the end of the day this guy has ripped some one off and likely not for the first time either, if we all just sat there and put it down to life lesson learned these scumbags would never stop doing it, the buyer has nothing to fear from reporting this scumbag to the authorities, only those operating illegal servers and the like need fear going down that route.

Bigger dishes when setup properly will give you more tolerance for poor weather, or rain faid as its commonly known but they also have less tolerance for error when lining them up, the best way to know is to carry the receiver to your dads place and hook it up to his dish your self. as for cams you can get a assortment of known working cams directly from the ViX plugin feeds, you only need to provide your own configuration files.

Ive had issues with a miracle twin premium with that build menu button was unresponsive the light flashed but nout was going on at all managed to get in roll it back and go from 010 i think it was, updated to 012 and the box has never been faster since i got it it updated but got this image during the restore never been seen before , but now its running faster than ever

Thats just the default tool used to live flash the receiver via the Image manager, it has been in use since Zeus build 001.

Dont care what anyone says including yourself mr pheonix...i updated my vu duo1 to helios 011 and the bootloader on my box became corrupted...constant reboot even in standby which i realized when my timers were constantly trying to record and fail!...i actually thought my box had popped a cap but luckily it was just a case of a bootloader reflash..back to open pli again fook dat crap.

if your bootloader had become corrupted the receiver would not reboot at all and would require a full J-TAG reflash to repair.

Millions of UK homes will be able to watch BT Sport for free for another season following BT’s decision to continue offering the channels for free to new and re-contracting BT Broadband customers.

BT has revealed that around five million homes now take BT Sport, just nine months after the channels went live last August. This makes BT Sport one of the fastest growing TV services ever launched in the UK.

Around three million of those homes take the service directly from BT – either via satellite, BT TV or the BT Sport App alone – with the remainder taking the service via wholesale deals struck by BT.

John Petter, BT Consumer chief executive said: “Fans have been the winners with BT Sport. Millions of homes have enjoyed the very best sporting action for free. We said we would shake up the market and we have done just that. The great news for fans is that BT Sport will remain free with BT Broadband for another season, during which we will broadcast live action from the new European rugby tournaments. There has never been a better time to switch to BT Broadband so I would encourage sports fans to sign up.”

BT Sport has had a strong debut season in which it has shown dozens of matches from the Barclays Premier League and FA Cup, as well as hundreds of hours of live football from Scotland, Germany, Italy and France. Customers have also been able to watch exclusive live coverage of Moto GP races as well as other sporting action including Aviva Premiership rugby, UFC, NBA basketball, women’s tennis and women’s football.

BT also announced that its set top box service BT TV has passed the one million milestone with the majority of those homes taking BT Sport.

Whilst BT Sport will remain free with BT Broadband for another season, non BT Broadband customers can also watch the channels if they have a *** satellite box. BT Sport is currently £12 a month in standard definition and £15 a month in HD. Virgin Media customers can also access the BT Sport channels for the same price or as part of their package if they take XL broadband from Virgin.

BT Sport was introduced to help BT Consumer return to top and bottom line growth. It has helped BT to grow its broadband base and to improve its share of broadband net adds in what is a highly competitive market. It has also helped the business to grow its TV revenues and to significantly reduce the number of line losses.

Currently running Vix 3.0.802 if i try and update it gets stuck on starting, ive tried reflashing with later images including Vix Zeus still the same outcome.
No usb devices connected, HDD disconnected and Ethernet disconnected.
Reloaded bootloader, format Usb stick before extracting image, tried different USB sticks i can't seem to get past ver 3.0.802.
I tried updating the drivers but when i check in image information the drivers date remains the same 08-11-2013

    Any ideas

All the plugin feeds and the archived OpenViX 3.0.xxx images have been deleted so the plugins and online updates options will not work for this image any longer, the same applies to all OpenViX 2.x series images.

On April 28 we reported that certain commercial satellite launches were under threat of being cancelled because of the growing crisis with Russia in regard to the political situation in the Ukraine.

In that story we specifically mentioned the upcoming launches of SES’s Astra 2G craft, plus a pair of satellites for London-based Inmarsat as well as a satellite for Turksat, each scheduled for launch by Russian-owned International Launch Services (ILS) from the Russian Baikonur facility. That list has grown to include a satellite for Eutelsat (3B) and Express AM4-R, each due for launch on the Russian-backed Sea Launch floating launch platform.

ILS, in a statement, insists that its launches are proceeding as planned. SES of Luxembourg also stress that as far as it is aware, its launch remains on schedule. The ILS statement says: “The US has not banned the SES Astra 2G launch nor any of our other launches under contract. ILS has all necessary US State Department authorizations to execute manifested launches through 2016. New licenses will be adjudicated on a case by case basis by the US State Department.”

However, on April 28, the US State Department issued a fresh set of instructions, saying: “Effective immediately, the Department’s Directorate of Defense Trade Controls (DDTC) will deny pending applications for export or re-export of any high technology defense article or services regulated under the US Munitions List to Russia or occupied Crimea that contribute to Russia’s military capabilities. In addition, the Department is taking action to revoke any existing export licenses which meet these conditions. All other pending applications and existing licenses will receive a case-by-case evaluation to determine their contribution to Russia’s military capabilities.”

These new rules fall under the USA’s Munitions List (USML) prohibitions, which restrict the sale of sensitive defense materials overseas.
Eutelsat’s 3B satellite has reportedly received all its necessary licences for its Sea Launch mission.

The State Department’s list of 17 Russian companies and businesses now on the ‘sanctions’ list does NOT include any that are satellite or launch-related.

yes the plugin feeds will still work, but any plugin we build our self that requires files from the later libraries included in Zeus will not function on ViX 3.0, nor will the new cams feeds ( although i could be wrong on that one ).

Just to update my earlier post as quoted.

We have now removed the Image feeds for all old no longer supported images, This includes ALL OpenViX 2.xx series images and OpenViX 3.0 series images, so from now on you will no longer be able to access the official OpenViX plugin feeds from these images.

we are sorry for the inconvenience this may cause some users but they were just taking up space in the server, and as we no longer build or support these images we felt it was the rite time to remove the feeds too, before they became a mess full of unsupported plugins etc.

Streaming video service Hulu has taken steps to clamp down on users accessing the site through VPNs in an effort to block international users from seeing videos available only in the US.

VPN users, including Americans trying to access the Web legitimately, will receive an error message, which reads: “Based on your IP-address, we noticed that you are trying to access Hulu through an anonymous proxy tool. Hulu is not currently available outside the U.S. If you’re in the U.S. you’ll need to disable your anonymizer to access videos on Hulu.”

Australian company Getflix mid-February launched a service offering residents there, in New Zealand and South-East Asia the ability to access entertainment streaming services such as Netflix and Hulu Plus using virtual private network technology to ‘trick’ the geo-blocked services into thinking the user is streaming from the US.

Getflix powers the operation with its own DNS servers, explaining on its website that only a small number of connections to Netflix and Hulu Plus get re-routed via its servers. “The actual video is streamed from Netflix or Hulu Plus directly to you so Getflix is much faster and more reliable than an alternative VPN or tunnel solution,” it says.

The legality of the service is questionable, with the practice of using VPNs to circumvent geo-blocking subscription restrictions being frowned upon.
