    Updating Changelog.

    IMPORTANT UPDATE POST BUILD 023.

Andy is currently merging the latest OpenEmbedded which will update the build environment to Oe-Alliance version 2.1.

This update fixes the Openssl heartbleed bug among other things and will require a full reflash, although this time you will be able to use a settings backup from your existing OpenViX Zeus image once you have flashed the new Image to save time.

More details will be posted as and when they become available.

yes the plugin feeds will still work, but any plugin we build our self that requires files from the later libraries included in Zeus will not function on ViX 3.0, nor will the new cams feeds ( although i could be wrong on that one ).

From Zeus build 020 onwards ( online now ), to remove compatibility issues softcams will be built for the image and included in the feeds once more, a few are there now and more will follow.

I have Solo2 with latest blackhole image. I have enabled hbbtv but I don't see hbbtv logo - where does that appear? Are there any channels on 28.2E I can try this with?

you will only see the HbbTv logo when on a channel carrying a HbbTv feed, and no 28.2 east does not contain any, try 19.2 east or 13.0 east, mainly the german and french channels.

spill your crap on your forum not here u r a waste of space...

What, you mean you dont want people to know the kind of person there considering working with ?, you have proven you'r self a liar and untrustworthy, i'm just making sure people dont forget.

yeah that sounds great id appericate it very much

sadly it seems some one did not like my previous post so i'll do it again without the profanities ( although it was not included in the swear filter ).

basically fraggle121 is not to be trusted, he has a proven track record of lying and leaking works not his own in order to further his own name. sadly though i feel he has supporters here who will once again remove my post which is quite sad really.

Taken directly from the vhannibal site.

if your referring to the tutorial i wrote, then yes its still good although a little out of date. i have been meaning to update it for a while just never gotten the spare time, i may do it this week though.

mytube is licensed to DMM hardware only, so legally none DMM hardware can not use it, The HbbTv plugin does include a licensed version of youtube but thats licensed to Vu+ and i'm not sure if its included in the version of HbbTv that xtrend licence.

using loopthrough will only allow you a limited improvement over a single tuner / feed, if you really want to use both tuners to their maximum efficiency you should have each using it's own feed from the LNB, otherwise the second tuner is going to waste.

£155 to install a standard dish with two feeds no more than 10 meters in length ?. wow that bloke is having a laugh.

dish size depends on what your intending to do with it, if it's going to be fixed to 28.2 east you need nothing more than a zone 2 sly dish, if it's going to be motorized that where the dish size increases and so does the cost.

That's interesting to know, thanks for the information. I agree it must surely be a lot of hard work for Andy and he personally has my complete respect, it's a shame though that his work has been touted out by others to try and get a supply deal of various brands of receivers in the past, perhaps he's aware of that though, I don't know.

That is where our view of ViX having a commercial aspect to it ViX comes from, if you say otherwise though I will take your word for it, it's not really an issue to me either way in any case, I just always wondered what your take on it was given what we've seen in the past, perhaps things have changed since then though. Anyway not to worry, we're perfectly fine with the fact you won't want to support any images that are not your officially produced ones, not a problem to us.

    :14_002:

It goes without saying that gaining official support from any of the BIG image teams would be a massive draw for any STB manufacturer and to claim otherwise would be naive to say the least, and some manufacturers provide a limited number of test receivers to ensure that their hardware works with the image, but i have no involvement in any such dealings nor would i want to.

You just have to look on the Chinese sites where cloners claim to have official support from certain teams to see how it's it's financially beneficial to them, thats just the way of the world. but to say that I personally have a commercial interest is not only wrong but legally slanderous. If any thing you your self are cashing in on the ViX name by touting your ViX images for the EVO boxes, no doubt when users see those they believe they will be getting official ViX support, which they are most certainly not.

A standard *** dish with s small run of coax as described, no more than £40 to £45 quid. it should take a hour max for that kind of install and thats being very generous.
