TSpanel it self is a known cause of mount problems with Pli and OE-Alliance based images such as ViX.

We are already aware of this, there are known issues with the Tunlr DNS service we have been using to get around the Geo block for the Iplayer and ITV player, if you'r in mainland uk then you wont have a issue.
we are looking into a way of adding a user login option into OnDemand so you can input your own proxy details etc, for more details of whats going on with Tunlr you can read here

you have your reason in post six.

LMAO we cant win. when we release updates people complain that there too frequent and when we dont they still complain.
For the record we are currently working through a very complicated update that requires a lot of testing, we cant and wont give ETA's and we never have and never will release updates just because some one else has.
As for 808 being the last version thats not strictly true
But it's not publicly available.

I've had 2 sf8s from the sponsor but not the technomate. using the openatv image it does everything but sometimes its hard to get it to mount a drive. I just use a network drive no probs. its the lack of images at the moment that lets it down, now if it had blackhole...
BH support is not the be all and end all (my personal opinion ), I would far rather have opensource images than images which are technically illegal due to their refusal to release their source code, even if it is something that the average user would not be concerned about i sure am.

I've just set up a new vu+duo and whilst I was in cool tv guide I pressed the play button on the remote.
It then gave me a list of my other bouquets, of which I can now select without coming out of the cool tv guide and back to favorites as I've always done before, hope this is useful if you didn't already know.
The same feature was introduced into ViX ( first ) around 6 months ago maybe longer, seems he's still copying things from ViX even after taking his side of things closed source.

I'm almost certain you can install a HDD into the TM - Nano.
Correct, although it is not provided with the receiver by default but has to be purchased separately, silly approach from TM if you ask me but thats their decision.
For what it's worth the Nano is a surprisingly snappy little box and well worth the pricetag, I dont even miss the display which i though i would.
-
Have you kept the protective film over the front of the receiver ?, if so remove it.
-
If your receiver cant decode the channel it wil often report Free to air in the infobar, ideally it should not do this and i have yet to see a image that does display this properly.
-
its only the past couple of months that i had a problem with images
yes thats about rite as the newer anti clone measures were only introduced within this time frame.
-
The cfe ( bootloader ) has nothing to do with it, if he was not running the latest bootloader he would not be able to run any image made in the last 18 months including all of the ViX 3.0 series. simply he has a clone.

For recordings you dont need to do any thing as it will wake the box five minutes before the recording is scheduled to start and go back into Deep standby five minutes after, as for the rest if your using ViX try the power timers feature as thats what it is designed for.

menu/plugins/red button/extentions/ts panel exit exit exit press hold power /restart enigma / woooooosh its gone , now i have to install it again ffs , just playing with you but it does uninstall and you may well be right but im not having issues
:32_002:not quite, while it may appear to be removed the plugin leaves several remnants in the image that can not be removed including system files it hacked as part of it's install process. no matter how you go about it you can never fully remove TSpanel from ViX or any other Pli or Pli based image without a full reflash.
-
I have never had any issues at all with it so cant agree or disagree with that statement but having no issues speaks for its self
well without getting into another argument we spent several hundred man hours testing and found multiple issues that were only present in the image when TSpanel was installed, without TSpanel these issues never occurred. if it works for you fine but we cant recommend a plugin that tampers with system files and makes it self physically impossible to remove from a system without a full reflash.

Transcoding has never worked properly as advertised and Vu know all about it, there looking into it at a driver level to try and fix it.
-
Any idea why ?
Because CH4 the owner of 4OD changed the way they stream content and this has broken the none licensed plugins such as OnDemand, there will be no fix for the forseable future if ever until a legal way around these changes is found.
