Housing picons on a HDD will add any thing upto or above 5 seconds to channel zapping times, especially if the drive is asleep when you change channels.

Pli are still using the old version of CrossEPG because there wont accept the new version unless some one does the work for them and patches it for Pli, needless to say thats not going to happen as the changes are already in the GIT but they want it done for them.

Officially you cant as Gigablue have not paid Opera for a licence, there is a hacked version out but it not officially supported and wont receive updates because of that.

The best thing you can do if you discover issues is create a post on the ViX forum for Mac as he's the one who maintains the OnDemand plugin, if people dont report things they wont get fixed.

Well they dont work on itv
Just tested on my ultimo with ViX 3.0-797 and a episode of Axe men, FF works fine, as do the numbered jump buttons forward and backwards, rewind is a little blotchy though but thats to be expected with a streaming feed.

you'r like a broken record pal, 4od is gone from enigma2 receivers likely forever, as for rewind / FF functions those have been in the Base OE-Alliance OnDemand plugin for easily 6 months.

once again cheers for your replay i know its ... but ondemand looks pretty good with bbciplayer itviplayer and... but liked the itv plugin from scoussy what was his name again liked the menu
Nothing has changed with regard to the ITV player for months and it's still working fine as far as i'm aware, the one your referring to is a separate stand alone version and will not be incorporated into OnDemand.

we are waiting for another version of ondemand maybe 4od
I dont know how many times this has to be said but that is very very unlikely to ever happen.
Ch4 have made changes to the way they stream content this has broken the 4od plugin, we were working with the original XBMC dev and even he gave up trying to fix it, so for now its not going to happen if ever.
demand 5, we have a fully working plugin ready to go but chose not to release it as all content uploaded to their server since august 2012 is DRM encrypted and cant be accessed on a STB legally.
we have however added a Iradio section to ondemand for internet radio streaming.

you two have obviously never seen a Duo with the memory leak on kernel 3.1.1 then because believe me thats far from solid and Vu still have no clue or inclination to track down and fix that particular issue.

Save the wonga and get an expeed lx2, cracking box at about £170....bloody nice remote too
HAHA, it's nothing more than a OEM version of the venton HD2 and not even as good as the new miracle box HD2 which is it self a OEM of the Venton HD2.

Gigablue did not design the remote it's a generic third party remote and the same one that Technomate use, the build quality of the receiver has nothing to do with the remote. At this moment in time the Gigablue Quad is the best receiver value wise and has a good deal of support with regular driver updates.
