The English Premier League has secured a High Court order requiring ISPs to block football streaming site First Row Sports.

The High Court ruled that the website, which didn’t host any live streams directly, was acting jointly with third party streaming services that broadcast public live footage of Premier League football matches.

A Premier League spokesperson said: “We are extremely pleased that the order blocking this website has been granted and we will be enforcing it, in conjunction with the ISPs, ahead of the 2013/14 Barclays Premier League season.

The ruling marks the first occasion that an order has been granted against a website that provides access to other illegal streaming third parties, paving the way for similar blockades in the future.

there is no need to install a media player as one is already built in to the image by default that will do every thing you need, plus no third party media player will add more functionality or allow you to play more media types, but you may end up with a nicer looking GUI and more memory used as a result.

The image it self has not been modified or "doctored" to run on the receiver but the hardware it self spoofs that of a Vu+solo hence why if you click Menu> Information> About it will tell you it's a Vu+ solo and not a Openbox.

The ViX image does not have samba installed by default, you must install this your self from the network menu.

If thats the only way to spot a clone then its news to me lol, are they really that good?

I never said it was any thing to do with spotting a clone at all, it is however the only way to know what is happening to the receiver at bootup and can be used as a diagnostic tool to see why it wont boot into the later image. you took a small portion of what i said totally out of context rather than reading the whole reply.

if there is a way to make any image display the ecm time correctly then i'm going to take it regardless of who it upsets, and i will continue to use 2.1.3 until the time something that is better or at least as usable as 2.1.3 comes along.

you have not upset me nor has any one associated with ViX ever said they would not support users who used this fix, you have access to the development sections to check your self if you dont believe me.

i was just saying that you dont need the fix with later versions of CCcam and i personally have used CCcam 2.2.1 for a long long time without any problem at all.

Box has always been on 2.4 and has ran great. My work colleague always did updates for me but he has been abroad for a while so just trying to get an easy solution to keep my channels fresh...

Will this plugin only work on vix 3

Thats not what you normally say on the other forums you frequent, you usually just come out and say it's a clone without any of this cloak and dagger rubbish.

There is no difference in build 558 to build 694 in this respect other than Vu+ Hardware drivers so if build 558 works build 694 should also work. To know for sure you would need to create a serial or bootlog with a rs232 - null modem cable and a putty session while the receiver is booting up.

i see your sorted but i'll also suggest another way around this problem. if your using one of the latest ViX images you can flash any image you want from any team directly from within the ViX image manager.

There is a tutorial already on the forum showing how.

This is all very serious and i am still sure something must have changed cause in the meantime i played back a backup image which i maked right direct i installed the iplayer and on demand plugins and all went fine back in april. Now also with this backup the same problem. iplayer plugin brings only black screen, on demand on BBC the same, all other stations on on demand plugin works properly, so anything must have channged :-(

well here is the proof that the original OE-Alliance OnDemand BBC Iplayer is still working just fine.

Build 558 is far too old a build to safely update using the online update method, best to make a settings backup using the backup manager then fresh flash to build 693 and restore that backup during the first install wizard.
