There is a temp fix for the juddering providing your tv can withstand 1080p/25hz.
If you are using the April 2013 Satstation image, you download a new plugin called Autoresolution.
You can then change to 1080p/25hz on your box & it helps. No juddering, but it's not 100% perfect, but is watchable.

Autoresolution is not a new plugin, its been around for years.

In ViX on the latest builds you can restore any other image regardless of the team who made it directly from within the ViX image manager, no idea if you can restore images from the image manager on any thing other than ViX but seeing as team red is a member of the OE-Alliance there is a possibility of them adding andys code into their own E2.

I did what you wrote here. I remove under the ondemand plugin.py and unzip, FTP to /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/Extensions/OnDemand/ bbciplayer.pyo.
What am i doing wrong? Please help. I have xtrend6000 with hdfreaks image. Thanks.

HDfreakz is a member of the OE-Alliance the official OE-Alliance OnDemand plugin should be available via the feeds with the fix for the BBC iplayer feeds already patched.

    No problem,
It must be a dvb-t module tuner along with one or more dvb-s/s2 tuners,
    A very nice setup indeed.

    yes that's it exactly.

thats a fact a stonewall fact . phoenix i was just trying to help . to state that it is simply to enter the saorview frequency at 28 east you will receive saorview is not a fact .saorview is terrestial saorsat is satellite based. saorview is the irish for freeview and saorsat is the irish for freesat. mhait an fearr go raibh mile mhait agum

yes i know , This is nothing to do with satellite reception, as i said his receiver has a built in dvb-c/t card hence why he can tune to and receive terrestrial channels.

i can receive saorview here in dublin with the old rabbit ears but my telly has to be dvb s2 compatable it will not work on dvb-t here for me . it used to when they where testing it i could get it fine .but in their wisdom they decided the powers that be to go with the scandinavion system so here you have to have either a dvb s2 compatable telly or a dvb s2 compatable box and thats a fact

The gigablue is a dvb-s2 compatible receiver, and thats a fact.

Image manager = creates a FULL image backup of every thing. you can also a full image from the image manager to flash the receiver without needing a USB stick.
Backup manager = backups your settings, bouquets, plugins and any thing else you choose to backup. This backup can be used from within the FIW ( First install wizard ) or the backup manager to restore your settings etc onto a existing or Virgin image.

I was under the impression that picons on the internal flash was a bad idea as it would eventually nacker the flash up and render the box useless from the continual use channel hopping , you learn something new every day

That was once the train of thought, but i have a Duo here that has been going strong for over two years with picons on the Flash.

As a general rule Picons are fine on the flash or USB but not a HDD as it will cause the HDD to spin up every time you change a channel
EPG is fine on a HDD or USB but never flash, if the EPG corrupts it will fill the flash in no time.

Nahh, the solo2 has more than enough internal storage for picons to be housed on the flash.
