Was the HDD working/recording in the solo2??? if so was it mounted in the image correctly? what image have you got on the solo2?

Yes mate. I installed it on friday, intialised it and mounted it in the mount manager. and it was working fine. I recorded the ufc on sat night, and watched it yesterday. I knocked my box off and back on as I did a channel search and it got stuck on starting.

sorry mate don't mean to sound dumb, whats a caddy?

The hard drive was working ok yesterday, recorded the ufc on sat night. Was I just lucky?

No I didnt, would I need to install it into a pc to format it?

Hi all, I've recently installed a hard drive into my solo2. I've just turn the box off and back on and its stuck on 'starting..'

I've unplugged the hard drive from the mother board, and the box has booted up fine. I'm guessing I've done something wrong somewhere?

Anybody come across this before?

Hi all, is there a guide or tutorial anywhere that will help me set up the second tuner on my solo2? I don't want anything fancy, I just want to be able to watch one channel and record another. I have a fixed dish pointing at 28.2, cable 1 runs into lnb port 1 and works fine. Just havent got a clue how to set up the second tuner.

Can anybody help?

Hey all, I've just downloaded mmc's picon set for 28.2e and FTP'd the the picon named folder to media/usb. I've restarted my box but its still showing the picons that were originally installed from the flash and some channels don't have any picon at all. Have I missed anything?

Ok buddy. I'm using metrix Hd, is it possible with this skin? Also how do I change the colour of the text so the channel name and the program name are different? At the moment they're both white, think it's easier to see if they're different colours.

Vix748 mate. I've changed the settings now so the favourites come up first. Just wondered if there was a quicker way to flick through the pages. Kind of like a page up/page down option.

May be a bit of a stupid question but is there a quicker way to scan through the channels when pulling up the epg? At the moment im going through each channel one by one. Is there a way to skip through pages instead?

Hey guys, newbie here so apologies if this has been asked before.When pulling up my epg, some channels have no info? For some channels the grid is completely empty. Do I need to adjust anything or is this a common problem?

I'm using vix748 image with the metrix HD skin.
