They will reply you that they dont' support DM900UHD... best would be to not talk about the "unofficial" version / box, or use one of the boxes they have on their supported list... choose for example as "your receiver", a VU+ Uno 4k, or VU+ Solo 4k, VU+ Zero 4k etc... that are all UHD... and don't mention after "Dreambox"...

    Toy soft i found this..

Timeshift.py need to be change with this code

if filename.startswith("timeshift") and not filename.endswith(".sc") and not filename.endswith(".del") and not filename.endswith(".copy") and not filename.endswith(".ap"):

It's related to the source official code of openpli, we do 100% compatible original image for these boxes, so this needs to be modified on the openpli team source (for all their boxes).

    Dear toysoft

Unfortunately, I am having problems with timeshift. The picture starts stuttering out of nowhere. After restarting the Dreambox, the issue disappears. I have purchased an SSD to improve performance and added extra cooling for my box. I have checked everything thoroughly. Unfortunately, the problem persists whenever I use timeshift, but when I turn timeshift off, everything works fine. Can you help me?

Do you have the same problem with OpenATV ?

    Code
Let me report, I managed to solve it, the problem was in the computer and laptop it seems. That was my last option if something was wrong. Today at work I formatted the USB and downloaded the image, inserted it into the rec and raised it to 7.4, later made a flash online to 7.5.1 and everything works without problems. I don't understand what caused the problems. If anyone has any advice or guesses what it could be I'm very interested.. So the problem is probably in formatting the USB or I drank some kind of virus on both computers.

Yes, most probably the formatting done previously wasn't recognized by the file system supported on the Flashing process of the old VU+ HD boxes.

You done fine, which size was your USB Stick, as this could be also a problem (if greater than 4 Gb if I remember well)... but you used in both tried the same, just reformatted when it was successful.

Trouble. I flashed the original release-dm7020hd-3.2.0.nfi for testing without errors. The box also does not boot, it is stuck on the boot logo. I did a full reset to factory settings in the BIOS. It did not help. Where in the forum can I read about recovery?

Capacitors, if you have such problem there is 3 big capacitors to change on the motherboard. I had one box with that problem, freezing... check them if they have an hill on top of them, the ones near to the smartcard reader (right of it watching box from the frontpanel).

does this software also exist for japhar sim dreambox 500 hd identical same

with this the Ncam 15.2 works perfect

Just replace the SSL when you flash the image (flash after the Japhar SSL), and boot the box and replace the bcm7405.ko driver file, and it will work on the DM500HD with Japhar Sim.

    TS

You have more chances reinstalling the image... than trying to remove a broken installation of a plugin, if it did also dependencies, which could not work as well with the plugin...

    BIOS is with default settings.

I have no longer the Multiboot or the last one.

I reflash all with new SIM.

The Box booted, but not entirely - seems can't completed boot - telnet and ftp is ok.

The image is Openpli V12.3 - with updated channels ...

You have to flash the image with the sim compatible with the image, this one is for original, so you need to use the original image.

If you want to "port the image" to another sim, generally you need to replace for the sim you want to use the SSL + driver (bcm7405.ko in driver folder) for that sim and it should work.

    TS

Just reset the BIOS, you can do it easily via the menu, when the box is in Flash mode, you just go with Telnet and flash the BIOS to default parameters.

Once this is done, then it will start booting from the Flash.

Remove all devices (USB and HDD etc) from ports.

    TS

How is it powered ? Generally the problem is that the external device (HDD) doesn't get enough Amp to work, if it flashes it often shows it tries but fails to read/continue the reading process.
