Which image are you using?
Also just wondering if that updated file you gave me will stop my own bouquet (nothing to do with Autobouquets) from disappearing when Autobouquets downloads an update.
It is not downloading, it is creating using data on satellite stream. During execution/processing, something went wrong and caused it to spoil your existing bouquets. The script has a few edited lines added to stop this from happening. I have pasted the link to the response from Lraizer where i mentioned the issue which has happened to you.
Both AB 28.2 are not meant to interfere with existing bouquets. I use AB 28.2 on top of Vhannibal's list (after I remove his 28.2 bouquets/channels and re-order) I use AB instead of ABM as it runs in less than a minute including the picon symlinks. Unfortunately, the issue with Catseye is one I don't really want to get too invloved in as it may seem disrespectful. There is a compatibility issue where ABM was not updating some channels becasue of the Catseye's bouquets. Nobody has raised this with Catseye/Skaman/Andyblac to to get to the bottom of it. You are not using ABM, so does not affect you.
Always good to have backups. To save your existing bouquets, use Dreamset/Dreamboxedit. Instead of "write", select "read" and save to your PC.
From PaphosAL
When Commando 15.0 DM500 was released a couple of weeks ago, Team Commando had made the decision to go for a fresh start with an image reflash, and stated that we did NOT have any plans to make a C15.0 upgrade available as a C14.7 Online Update.
We have mellowed... We realize that there are a number of C14.7 users out there who cannot (for one reason or another) apply the easy reflash procedure and get the latest C15.0b release and update from yesterday, 15 Feb 2014, up and running...
So, press your Online Update button NOW, and you'll be on C15.0b inside 2 minutes! Please be aware that it will STILL be a fresh start, though!
1. The update will NOT affect any personal 3rd party files that may have been added to our FTA image (for testing and educational purposes), promise!
2. Please run SML again when prompted at boot. Same GUI, but underlying coding has changed in C15 - if you miss it, go BLUE > BLUE > GREEN and there is SML, only takes a few secs... As the default location is London, with a bang up to date set of services and bouquets.
3. And then run AutoBouquets on BLUE > 2 and prepare to be gobsmacked!
Welcome to Commando 15.0b !!!
Cheers- TC
Updated script.
For use with 10 October 2013 version.
SatelliteJunkie, sorry mate slipped my mind. There were a few extra lines added to the script file in case of errors. Please replace your existing one.
Online update now available to bring up to Commando_15.0b_dm500_update_14-02-2014_19h17
Latest upload also attached.
Commando 15.0 - first online update 14 February 2014 - What's NEW?
=====================================================================
1. Fixed the flaky 'Hide+Lock Bouquets' GUI menu
2. A handy x-ref file /var/etc/usersort.ref file is now generated by AutoBouquets.
This has a simple two column format showing the *** channel number and name, using
the current channel sorting order. Useful to x-ref against when editing your
custom_sort_n.txt user sort file! Channel Names are in OSD/picon-naming format and
the odd few names that have a SPACE on the end are clearly identified as such!
3. Changed the 'Bouquet Custom Sort' GUI menu (at Abu's request) to allow for NONE
to be active. AutoBouquets will then use the default 28.2E stream ordering. Note:
this is NOT recommended for users running RT-EPG mode, as many +1 channels are
orphaned from their parents for some strange reason known only to B***B...
4. Fixed an anomaly where it was possible to select 'Scan FTA only' and THEN set
the 'Create FTA Bouquet' option, resulting in a ridiculous duplication scenario!
Now, it's either one or the other, or neither.
5. The new "Channel 5+24" service is treated by RT-EPG as a parent channel, because
it isn't a 24hr timeshift of "Channel 5" as the name misleadingly implies.
6. Fixed an issue with NTP where the previous server was refusing to connect.
7. On the contentious C15.0 password front, Lincsat came up with a cool idea, and
Lraizer has helped us hard-code it deep inside the heart of the neutrino binary.
The passwd file is now back in /var/etc and is still 'unpassworded' by default.
If a user sets a password for user root via the Telnet passwd command, but then
afterwards forgets what it is (for Telnet / FTP / remote access), they now have
a new 'Settings' menu option: "Reset root password". This returns to the C15.0b
'no password' default instantly, to win back your Telnet and FTP access!
8. Smart checking (and if necessary, handling) of the zapit.conf file prior to the
zapit binary loading at boot. This fixes the 'start TV channel' issue when a user
has activated the '28.2E ***-numbering' bouquet, and also returns things to normal
if this feature is later cancelled. Thanks for LraiZer's help with this!
9. The 'Reset Password' and 'Restart Softcam' GUIs are now dual language, sensing
whether English or Deutsch is the default lingo/sprache.
As always- ENJOY! TC (Renwich, LraiZer, Satsearching, Ronan, PaphosAL) ;)

Have a look at the swap.txt file
101=141
103=178
104=230
105=171
If activated, when you press 101 you will get 141. When you press 103 you will get 178 and so forth. If I remember correctly, the deafult one has 102 =142, before BBC2 was HD by default. This line would need to be deleted. Northetrn Ireland users would need to edit theirs too. You cannot swap channels between 1-100. Lraizer has reserved these for something else.
Channel numbers won't change regulalry. Only when something stops/starts broadcasting or a major reshuffle happens.
Your recordings are based on the service, not channel. Sorry don't know too much on this, but your EPG data needs to be up to date. Have a look at the crossepg section. You should automate this too. After AB runs.
Sheduled update scan = NO, Autobouquets will not update your chanenls/bouquets automatcally.
Sheduled update scan = YES, Autobouquets will automatically update your chanenls/bouquets based on your selection. (picon symlinks too if enabled)
I don't know what time teh chanenl changes happen. But would imageine at the time that fewest people would be affected. Any time after 06:15 will be fine.
If the channel numbers change,
What ever the official channel number is, it will be in the bouquet. (Unless you have applied a swap). This does not happen often, but as you have asked:- You will have to edit sort file.
If the channel frequencies change,
Whole point of plugin. You dont have to worry about it.
Other Extra Channels
Places Extra/Test channels in the Other bouquet.
Scheduled Update Scan
Runs automatically. Going by a post from Lincsat, I would not schedule for middle of night. after 06:15 is fine. Only takes 50 odd seconds. If you have crossepg downloader set, have AB run about before it.
The auto picon feature
Converts the picons to static names. Creates symlinks to them automtically so picons will always be valid. You only have to worry about new/changed picons.
Slight issue found for ROI region. But this is in Lraizer's to do list
That sort file is fine (only checked top of it).
After you have started/ran it. It should put chanenls in order of your file. Have you exited bouquet and come back into it to give Enigma2 a chance to refresh?
If yes and still no joy, I can have a look using teamviewer for you.
You have not selected sort_file_3 and are still on default. I would also recommend that you enable hide the PLI placeholders. It will get rid of blank spaces in the bouquets for PLI based images.
See result here.
Execute/Run/Start process. Yes, that was what was meant.
Post a screenshot of your settings (page where you change settings) and upload your custom sort file.
Any joy?
...
There is no password on image. Some programs will not interact with receiver if you do not fill in password. DCC E2 will work with password = root even when there isn't one.
Have you followed advice on how to set password?
Filezilla works without a password.
No need for restart. Have you run AB afterwards?
navigate to to the plugin folder, /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/Extensions/AutoBouquets . I have created a symbolic link so I can just go straight to it.
You will find a few sort files. custom_sort_3 has been left for user editing. Best to use a linux editor such as notepad++. Lets say for argument, in the Enteratinment bouquet,
You want
BBC1,
BBC news
*** sports1
Your first lines will be
01=101
01=503
01=401
In the lifesyle bouquet
you want
bbc1 again
bbc2
star plus
your sort file will be
02=101
02=102
02=784
Hopefully you catch the drift for the rest.
The hierachy is
Supplement
Swap
Sort
What this means is that if you have a swap of 101 with 141,
if your sort file is
101
102
it will actually be
141
102
You can juggle bouquets around. Normal Enigma2 action. Enable move mode etc. In the AB E2 options, default must be disabled.
So for example, you wanted to have your customised channels in the "shopping" bouquet and not affect the others. You would move shopping bouquet to the top using the image.
Your custom-sort_3 would be the same for all others boouquets, but shopping section would contain for channels in example above
0a=101
0a=503
0a=401
It is handy having channels in alphabetical order, try this. I have not maintained it for a while. Please backup your existing one.
you cant do that
Yes you can. But cannot rename the bouquets. (At the moment)
Can you confirm what the version date is? You do not need to perform a service scan any longer on newest version.
If you go into the "-- Autobouquets" bouquet, the date is imprinted for you. Example: Created, Tue Feb 11 01:52:00 GMT 2014
Yes it will keep them updated for you.
With regards to customising, best to await your response about version before going further. At the moment, you cannot create extra bouquet that are maintained on the E2 version. However, you can customise existing bouquets. (The one in Commando 15 allows you to rename bouquets and has three extra "freestyle" bouquets.)
Is it a backup image someone made or a clean image. Reason for asking is that some backups have non-default passwords
