George I tried the above but can't seem to locate the log? Checked where all the oscam files were, no luck?

Hi, I am using the following settings and I have got mgcamd clearing channels, however I do not see my entitlements updating, what exactly should I be looking for the in the log? I checked the reader-entitlements section but they have not changed whatsoever.

The log in oscam webinterface shows :
2012/05/27 11:52:13 9265928 r linuxsat emmtype=global, len=33, idx=114, cnt=1: written (24 ms) by uk
2012/05/27 11:52:15 9265928 r linuxsat emmtype=global, len=32, idx=115, cnt=1: written (28 ms) by ukI would like to know does this mean entitlements are updating?
-
does this look normal in the log?
2012/05/26 13:19:39 923E3B8 r linuxsat emmtype=global, len=33, idx=8, cnt=1: written (22 ms) by uk
in readers section it shows :
EMM written

EMM skipped
UK / G / S / UQ0 / 65 / 0 / 0
I got it sorted by copying everything in your files over to oscam and the receiver, did not change anything. However I double checked and the username did not have a password even though I did type it in on oscam, your probably better off inputting a user manually on oscam though the webinterface page. Hope it's working. Let me know if above seems ok? What would happen if I didnt put an ecmwhitelsit back in?
-
Finally got it connected, do I need to add the ecm whitelist back into the configs? Also do I need to set each user to au = uk? or just my mgcamd receiver?
-
-
The only thing I changed was the 127.0.0.1 ip to my pc IP.
-
Ok so I used exactly the same files you posted, saw this in the oscam log, not sure what it means, but looks interesting ...

Do I need the ECMwhitelist in the reader section? Also the boxid? I honestly have done everything that you said in this thread. I have an option to d/l mgcamd with newcs softcam, not the latest mgcamd softcam you said, thats not in the list mate. my newcamd list looks like this:

CWS_INCOMING_PORT = 21000

Deleted Oscam files, deleted the softcam. Mgcamd still not clearing channels. Would you like me to send all files or specific files again?
-
Should I try deleting old softcams off the receiver? I use to run oscam and cccam on my receiver before I switched to Ubuntu, old files still on the receiver?
-
Done the above but no mgcamd.log in that folder. It's not in there. I don't think the softcam is running? no log.
-
No errors in the log and shows me as offline
-
I replaced the CWS line with the N: as shown above
Still not clearing...
-
Is there anyway to see if your entitlements are actually updating or do you have to wait for a few hours/days before you can see them updating?
-
Ok I get the entitlements bit under reader, I know how to check that, not sure where and how to add an Nline...not done that before on Oscam
-
Unfortunately still no luck, made the above changes and it's still not clearing. :-(
I don't need to open any ports do I as was mentioned earlier. Wonder what it is? -
What about the DVB=Api? Do I need to add that anywhere? If so how?
-
Does everything else look ok? Changed the 00 to 06, still no luck, picture not clearing. I'm assuming I use mgcamd 1.35 as the softcam on my receiver then too?
-
Ok I tried the above and I'm not having any luck, here are my settings:

When you say later images which ones are you specifically talking about? I will try the configs late tonight and get back to you, but I am using Dream Elite image on my dm800hd.
