  • Oscam from scratch?

    I have Blackhole 2.1.5 image. I have Redlight Viaccess card and a Sly card for the freeview channels. I currently have a small CCcam server,which has been running no probs for about 6 years. I would be more than happy to stick with CCcam but CCcam 2.30 stops by itself after a minute and earlier CCcam versionsrun great but they don`t see my local cards.

  • Oscam from scratch?

    Ok I'm gonna have one last go at getting Oscam to work on my Vu+ Duo2. I want to switch from my CCcam server to standalone Oscam server using my receiver. I will use Oscam svn10645(I think that's the version number). I will have in the config folder, Oscam conf,Oscam server and Oscam user. I will try to edit the strings in these folders correctly when I get home at 4.30. I'm just reading up on the forum on my lunch break to see what I could be missing. Something I have spotted but not sure of is, do I still have to have a CCcam cfg in the etc folder even though I'm only using Oscam?

  • oscam Status plugin connection refused

    I am now totally lost. I`ve tried editing files ,which I probably don`t even need to. I have been trying for over a week now and I`m now further from getting it working than ever. I have used the cccam to oscam converter and as far asI am aware these 2 files are ok. I have put my server port in the "cccam" part of the oscam conf file. But it`s hopeless,nothing now. I`m using Oscam svn10645.

    this is what`s in the config folder :oscam.conf / oscam.user / oscam.server / oscam.srvid / oscam.dvbapi / oscam.ccache and oscam.services.I created the user and server files using the cccamtooscam app. I`m not sure what I am supposed to do to get my peers to see my server.

    I still cannot get my peers to connect to my server.I can see their cards and shares and clear channels.I can also clear channels with my local card but they cannot see anything from me. Apart from putting the port number in the oscam conf file is there anything else that needs to be put there or anywhere else?

    I will have to do that later m8, I'm at work now. I need to know which files should be in the config folder because after I installed the Oscam emu I think there are now 7 files in there and I don't know which ones I need and should edit accordingly.

    I obviously have something wrong that is not allowing my peers to see my server. Which file in the confiig folder and what settings should be there for them to see my server? Sorry for the questions, I'm slowly getting there. I just wanted to switch from cccam server to Oscam server.

    Oh I`ve found the tab to see my peers.They all show offline. Oh dear now I`m lost. I don`t know how to get them online. I can see their shares,do you know what could bee the problem?

    I know I`m being thick here guys,please be gentle with me. I bought a Vu+ Duo 2 a couple of weeks ago and decided to sell it because I can`t get CCcam to work properly to run my server. Everyone said to ditch CCcam and use Oscam.I tried last week and got nowhere and gave up.This week I`ve been reading all the threads on here and decided to give it another go. On Sunday I managed to get Oscam to read my card. Monday I managed to get Oscam to clear channels using my peers cards but it wouldn`t clear channels using my local card. Tonight I have managed to clear channels using my local and my peers cards.Now my problem is,I don`t know if my peers can see my card and shares. I have installed the Oscam Status plugin but I can`t get it to work.I keep getting the connection refused message. I don`t know what I have to put in the settings.I never had to put anything in the CCcaminfo plugin,it would just read the CCcam cfg.
    Any help on what I hope, is the final step in my successful Oscam setup,would be greatly appreciated.

    I must be unlucky then.I got the warning less than 2 month after subscribing.Saying that,when I got the second box installed,I was having the attic converted into 2 bedrooms and a bathroom.I told the engineer to put the box in the kitchen but not to install the phoneline extension fully as I would be moving the box upstairs when the conversion was complete.Maybe he left a warning on my account.I would try again but there`s no point if they`re gonna change the security.

    You can't use a multiroom card for cs. It has to be in the official box connected to a phone line at all times. They will send signals to make sure this is the case. When they find this isn't the case you will get a warning that if you don't comply then you will be charged the full subscription of your first card. This happened to me, I refused to have a phone line installed to the second box upstairs. So I cancelled the multiroom.
