    beeman8 you have to do the proceedings for OpenAtv as follows, this works for OpenAtv 5.3 to 6.4


    get the universal feed this way from telnet (copy and paste) :


    wget -O - -q http://updates.mynonpublic.com/oea/feed | bash


    reboot ,than go in Menu/plugin/greenButton/softcams...........download the ones you'll use


    2) next go to Menu/InfoPanel/SoftcamSetup start the cam you want (in your case oscam-trunk)


    3) be sure you've got your line in a reader placed in /etc/tuxbox/config/oscam-trunk/oscam.server


    4) reboot........no need to start from any file .emu


    it'll work!!

    You still didn't write which image are you using, from what you say i think that probably is Open Atv, if this is the case you better read this thread

    You can avoid reflashing, if the dec at boot time reaches 49% or more it means that it is trying to write the user settings, then you can connect in FTP to the dec (filezilla or other). When you are connected go to the folder usr/lib/enigma2/python/plugins/extension and delete the folder "freeserver" then restart and you will see that everything is back to normal of course without the plugin freeserver.




    Puoi evitare di riflashare , se il dec in fase di boot arriva al 49% o oltre vuol dire che sta tentando di scrivere le impostazioni dell'user e quindi è possibile collegarsi in FTP al dec (filezilla o altro). Quando sei collegato vai nella cartella usr/lib/enigma2/python/plugins/extension ed elimini la cartella "freeserver" poi riavvii e vedrai che torna tutto normale ovviamente senza il plugin freeserver.

    You should keep in mind that this is only a Beta release and anyway for open atv the passwords should be root/root or root/- if i'm not wrong

    Hello Ahmed Gazye ,

    really good idea to keep them separated, i prefer the Lite version but do you think they can be installed both on the same receiver?

    just not to look like a silly question I've got an Amiko Alien 2+ that has of course a small processor where the lite i think it'll run fine and IPTV always with mixed results....

    Hello Amhed Gazye,

    first of all thanks for your & your friend Mino_60 for this very good plugin, you are adding a lot of good features, anyway i prefer the previous version where I could check the m3u files in "mp3Player" and then decide to convert them in .tv files (inside the player) so to eliminate the one not working, in this last version the green button "iptv" is useless.

    You don't need .ipk files to install Oscam in OpenAtv , proceed as this :


    1) Send by telnet (DCC or else) this line to the receiver :


    wget -O - -q http://updates.mynonpublic.com/oea/feed | bash and restart.


    2) Go to Menu-Plugins-Green Button.......you'll find scrolling down the folder "Softcams" click on it and will have a list of cams choose the ones you need and download,


    3) Go to Menu-Infopanel-SoftcamSetup choose the cam and then Green Button to Start it

    You'll find Config files in these directories :

    CCcam.cfg >>>> /etc

    Oscam (Stable Smod Emu or Trunk) >>>>>>>/etc/tuxbox/config/ Oscam (+name)

    OpenATV has changed the path to softcams confs , you should install first the feed and then download the softcams here is a link to understand it all:
