if im not wrong i was sat on another forum some 5yrs+ ago when virmin was taken over by richard branson because the company was close to death and closure loomed over it. sure enough richard had the company introduce the new encryption and in 1 day 90% of boxes died with everyone saying whats being said here its gone for good, no more cheap or free tv, but look at it now IPTV-UK based channels are from there, ive had a kryptview box thats worked "as long as the box is kept updated" since the new encryption started. the only difference is sly has added the new layer to all there cards but its new thats all, there will be in my eyes somewhere down the road a way of pairing or hosting the sly channels onto a server and we wont get this until those that hacked it have made their fill to the company's that build the boxes because its there that the money is ready to be made its logical that it will go down that road. but i would never say never

i wish i had come across this post ive had alot of issues with my zgemma 2s cccam,mgcamd,oscamk all play after installing them but after a certain time they started to pause every 5seconds,10 mins and even never restarted was pulling my hair out then with a lot of playing about i re-configured my tuner A&B to simple/single/28.2 East and last option set to no and ive had no issues since i dont use the box for anything else no recording just sat channels to watch.

im adding this just incase anyone else in my shoes are having the same issues this may help them

OK I've used this method to get around the locked password and ill pass on the same advice i was given which is.....Buy Pre-Configured Boxes And always make sure you have the changed password before its sent or your locked into their deals and alot dont unlock the box it forces you to buy a new box. there maybe some bits here that say attached or linked ive used tyhis advice on a few forums to pass on i wont give firmware out its easy enough to use the 2 names ive added Lavtronics or Amiko EVO

(Toolbox for Amiko 3612) needed to load and flash the firmware via the RS232 lead.

Here are the firmware files - Select The Latest For Your Box - Google the 2 Options under this...:

You will need one of these:
9 Pin RS232 Serial Port to 3.5mm Jack Programming Cable - look on eBay - around £9

1, Attach the RS232 Serial lead to the serial port of your chosen PC/laptop

2, Attach the 3.5mm jack into the Amiko's RS232 serial port (3rd from the power) but do not switch it on (no power) See step 10

3, Run the Toolbox for Amiko 3612 - turn the music option off (its annoying)

4, Select LOADER AMIKO

5, Click BROWSE and find the LAVATRONICS-282E-ALLSD+FTAHD-211014-COMBO (or whichever one you decide to use from the link - this is the one I used though) - so browse to where you saved this file.

6, Click serial port drop down (I think mine worked on com1) so try COM1 - if not work your way thru it may be COM2 or 3

7, Click Upgrade type drop down and select ALL SW + BOOTLOADER

8, Mode setting is UPGRADE

9, Click NEXT and turn on the power to the Amiko - if the serial port (com 1 etc) is right, you wont get a 'cant find serial port' message, and the lights on the display will flash like a mad thing - DO NOT TOUCH ANYTHING!!!!

10, NOTE: If the above doesn't work, try steps 3 to 9 with the Amiko powered on but simply remove and re-insert the serial jack in the Amiko after step 9 (I did this a while ago so cant remember the exact sequence)

11, It will take a while but when finished will show ON (as I recall) on the display. Ideally, if you can attach the HDMI cable and watch on the TV, you should see the AMIKO boot up and so you will know 100% when its done.

have you tried mabe changing the settings from plugins to another version, i know theres a few in there regarding the motor settings to choose from

uk HD on 1 addon id be suprised if your able to get all HD anywhere let alone free

AutoBouquets setup/configure/setup mode = expert then uncheck the option include "not indext" channels that will stop all hd channels just make sure if you wanted freesat channels on HD stream to enable freesat

mine works great but im unsure if its just my box zgemma i had to open openwebif plugin or i got errors when it tried to collect the new boquets

hello by N3 you mean anything thats a premium channel,if so sounds like your mgcamd may not be activated
have you set the CWS = line to 'newcamd.list' CWS = then your line infomation, after that blue button soft cam manager start the cam ** i do believe thats the steps to take **

hahaha has anyone used the old method yet the images shown in here are web pannel and so on but i not seen anyone say press the (print screen) button on the keyboard top row after f12

them guides are good but wont show what this guys wanting, you have spark installed you now need to make it run to install enigma couple of ways..
1, is run this spark_rescue_image_Amiko_amiko micro hdSHD-8900_Alien it can be found on this site when installed you will need an e2upgrade-restore.plugin also found on this site you send that over by ftp or usb when installed look inside the plugins folder where calculator is plugin_e2upgrade now while its red on a usb formatted to fat 32 place your enigma2 image and inside plugin section of spark menu enable the e2upgrade so it turns green and place your usb into the box you will see the usb loadup and a popup window asking what you want, select upgrade and sit back till its done

it used to be the way to update/install all done via usb holding down ok button and so on but that ways becoming very unstable and now its just about 100% every time better to install the way ive pointed out in the above post

above are the 2 root paths for the 2 files if theres an issue with it your changing the properties from 644 to 744 but extracted files should be left at 644

can i add when you turn on the box if its new then you wont see anything you will need to load onto it the updated firmware and then the tools the usermanual will only show you what legal steps to take if you want the box to run so you can view various channels then you need to install an image but again on the home page there are downloads also

also you might need to check that all your settings for the addons arnt cache saving to the box never use the 0 cache it will cache all your data to the kodi folder and can be really heavy on processer and internal storage

i think mabe you got me wrong, i want them to login to a pannel via webbrowser the php script i need info about works there it gives the person whos line is about to run out the option to extend,remove and also changfe personal details, i was advised back in the beginning that this will cause big issues among family with payments and i got shown this smart control pannel the script is setup via my server and mine and my brothers admin login and members login we all have linked means of pay sending but buying skys full package and adult and ppv and not being given other members share is headbanging, the point of them having control and not me is no arguments or ill feelings towards myself when this way they dont send their money the cline wont auto renew

hello guys ive had a little trouble with my family when it comes to pay their share of the server some arnt as quick to pay out and i thought i would look into setting up a login pannel so they can manage their lines, dont get this message wrong this isnt a public server its a family run server only i seem to get hit with the bill lol and id like some info on the auto script to let them family members have control of their own lines they dont pay then the line dies, but ive not seem much infomation and any would be most welcomed.

i wouldnt update any other way plugin_e2upgrade via spark plugin runs every time, but i have found the box method does hang but i waited around 40minutes then re-tried 2 other ways both worked when the box boots into spark after you release the ok button and normally press right arrow then ok dont select ok and it mainly will auto install from there or the other way release the ok button and dont do anything other than wait and it kicks into boot/upgrade but failsafe way is via spark plugin

sorry had internet drop out with service fault im using june fano backup in that hes installed the 2 auto rats boquets 1.2 and 1.4 the manual updates send no issues at all theres a little issue on the forum your on rat m8 401 or 403 issue and to stop it i should add a small line onto the bottom of the opkg.config. but i had been removing and sending to the external storage drive for space so i thought id give it a fresh wipe on the amiko alien 8900 dream edited your channels+boquets over all great im just adding the newest picons to the external now. im hoping im correct but the error i got may been if theres no update to get via auto boquets

ooh http 1.1 401 unauthorized error m8 thats trying to use channel autoboquet 1.4 i installed the other day but thought might have been installation error but wont install says depenacies not met
