1Channel in Tsmedia is working perfectly for me now.

I think I can speak for all when I state that I respect and much appreciate the work you both do which is invaluable to the E2 community.

Thanks to both also for the insights which have enabled me to progress my knowledge of phythin scripting which I am beinging to see is not as daunting as it once appeared to be to me.

PS: Only thing that worries me a litlle is that if I navigate to my proxy via any browser I get primewire.ag showing up in its full glory. Think I might just see if I can find away to 'cloak' this feature. :83:

Many thanks Ian. This explains why everytime I updated the url file and then started TSMEDIA it got overwritten. This completes the puzzle for me. Was doing my head in.

replace the mrdude proxy with your new one and restart enigma2

tsmedia 1channel will now use your proxy instead of my old one on his server.

It's entirely up to you how many m8's etc you pass it on to. All they need is your modified version of the py script and they're good to go.

Yes that was what I was thinking also. I will post them up to my site and then PM you a link but am now a bit worried because I seem to remember ViX backups being pretty flaky which is why I switched to using VTi. Anyway, give me 5 minutes and I'll PM you.

What did you delete, the default skin folder?

Can report that it seems to work fine on VTi without any crashing whatsoever so far.

It woks nicely via the zero site and it also works nicely via my own personal hosted domains. So now have plenty of backup. Just working on how to apply this to TSMEDIA now without decompiling the pyo.

cccam does not come preinstalled in ViX images. So unless the nice person who installed the image added it for you, you may need to install it yourself. If you press you blue button you should be able to navigate to the softcam menu and see there what is available to you. If cccam is listed you can start it there and also set it to autostart. If it is not there then you will need to install it. I recommend the TSPANEL or Linux-Support plugin route to install it or you can souce the ipk and do a local install yourself. Either way you will need to source and install an ipk depending on which option you choose but bear in mind once you have installed either of the suppport panels (TS or Linux Sup) you will have access to loads of additional good stuff in addition to what you currently see in the normal 'manage addons' lisings under plugins.

Tried them all and always end up back with VTi for me.

I just love the Atile Skin which make my DUO2 look individual and different from what I was used to seeing when I owned DM's.

When I finally moved from a DM to VU+ I expected and wanted to see something in VU images that was unique and VTi satisfied this for me. No, it won't be everybody's cup of tea but for me it's a breath of fresh air compared to the bland UI's presented on all the other images. Plus you don't have to hunt around for softcams & plugins and backing up & restoring images is simplicity itself.

Just wish it had the nice looking Media Centre UI from the ATV image. :10_002:

I do not think NCF will work unless the SIM is installed properly.

Without the SIM the box will not work at all which is why you are getting the error. Strange that the holder is broken coz without you are in a pretty sticky situation as you have no way of seating the SIM reliably. I suspect that this box may already have failed and someone thought they might try re-seating the SIM. Need to get a replacement SIM holder if one can be fitted or new Mobo which is not really worth it financially.

Also need to flash it with an image that is compatible with the SIM BL but as you can't get the SIM to sit properly you face a major challenge.

This happens quite a lot with TSmedia. Sometimes one has to restart the STB to get it to work fully.

Check you settings in XEPG. It might be looking in the wrong place as you may have lost your mounts. Restarting E2 usually fixes this on a standard E2 box.

All the above is, of course, ASSuming you have already downloaded some EPG data to the box via XEPG. :snicker:

PS: Have you considered putting another image like OpenViX on it? hint, hint......

Those photo's do actually show what was on at the times shown this morning on those channels on Sty IT. Could it actually be working again or was it that they were temporarily FTA? This is not the first time I have seen such a bold claim either but I am sure if, by some miracle, it was working again the news would be all over the net by now. For me it is still as the "Ace of Spades". :62:
