    For some reasons i am having problems with this method.. Obvioiusly i am doing something wrong but i will keep playing with this..
    I am trying to fix this for a friend so may continue to play later after i buy one of these myself.. either a s11 or s12
    Any recomendation?

    Thanks mate at least it works.. Later when my kid gets off the xbox i can delete the server part and see if it carrys on working..
    I will also load the toll mentioned any try this.

    I have been given an n line instaed of a c line..
    I wanted to know how to add this n line to the openbox s9

    I have manually added nline info to both MGcamd plug setup/mage config files/newcamd.list/add...... added n line


    also in newcamnd server stup/nwecamnd server parameter/ turned turned server seetings to.... on


    and in newcamnd server user manager/add.............. added the nline user and pass here..


    It works but feels i may have done more than i need to add n line ?

    Hi,


    I have managed to to add my cline and my nline to the box...


    The c line is fine as it shows as online in the manage cccam.cfg window.
    My n line which works fine in the dm500s is showing as ok than ko than ok and ok again in a loop...


    i have tried adding both via usb together and seperately...


    According to what i have read so far it is ok to add via usb named CCCam.cfg to cccam plug or should i be adding it to newcamd. list(MGcamnd plug).. And if this is the case do i rename it from CCcam.cfg to something different?


    Sorry if this is a knoob question but new to this box

    This gives the provider info for each line. I need to know which line has decypted the channel. or am i missing something


    "Additional cline data info window:
    Once you have access to a channel via your cline.
    Click Menu -> Network Setup -> CCcam Client Setup -> Manage Config Files -> CCcam.cfg
    then highlight any single cline and click the 'Info' key"

    I was given an openbox s9 by a friend.
    I did not know if it is orignal or not so used the link below to flash . The image on the box was password protected so could not view cccam info..

    Ive also managed to update new channel list ,add new cline from reading the info on this forum.. Thanks


    on my dm500 i have cccan pannel which i can use to see which c line is clearing that particular channel. for example if i had 2 c lines i could tell which was clearing therfore which was quicker...


    Is there a way to install this or something similar on the s9

    I tried on windows xp pc and it works. Thanks
    when i go to my shared folder on the pc i see a file that i have recorded and plays fine...


    can i play this on the dm500..
    i made sure ngrab is running on pc... on my dm500 i press menu/file mode/ok/playlist/ but clicking on this does not play the recorded file.. What am i doing wrong


    i will try admin account on windows 7 pc later when my kid finishes with it..

  • dm500s pli image with ngrab

    Hi,


    I have installed the ngrab pluging via the remote / downloads/ addons from the server on my dm500 and configuered as follows:
    server ip : my laptop ip 192.168.1.10
    server port : 6000
    detected mac and saved


    on the pc i loaded ngrab lite 1.0.3
    and configured as:
    ip address : ip of dm500s : 192.168.1.10
    listen port 6000
    target folder : made folder on the laptop desktop and called it dm500shared.. Right clicked and allowed all sharing options /saved and exited.
    I am using windows 7 and cannot see the shared hand as in xp but all properties of folder indicate that i have shared the folder correctly.


    on the pc running ngrab gives a black windows which shows connection status as port 6000 listened and reciever ip address ok...


    now when i go to the dm500 and press yellow for plugins/start ngrab recording i get this error on the pc "error 429(Activex component cant create object)in precedure startrecord v form frmstart


    I cannot see anything in the shared folder .....

    Hi,
    First let me say a big thanks to the image.
    All is fine except this...


    "Now press blue and you will see the channel mapping screen, here you just need to match the channels from your bouquet in the left and right boxes, this is a pain but only has to be done once.When done press green to save."


    I am trying to add the asian channels but seem to mhave no luck


    on the channels page there are two colums . if i click/select a channel on the left such as zee tv the cursor goes to the right colum which allows me to than either select ignore, unknown or godown to the list of all the other channels.. I asume these are allready mapped. i go to the top channel and press ok on the remote.. This seams to take the channel(zee tv) from the left and put it on the right pannel
    I save this and press retrieve button.... When this finished i press save, exit out of all the menues...


    The channels you have mapped are great but the asians do not have any epg......
    what am i doing wrong
