ok deleted list and set box to factory default settings.. strangely this does not delete any config files. both c line and n line still there..
Added the same fav list from this forum as lfc4ever but some channels still low or no signal.. *** arts 1 freezing/not working but *** arts 2 is fine
I have ordered a quad inverto ultra so hopefully this fixes the problem . If not it must be the box
I have just tried at a friends house so different lnb and dish..
i rescanned but did not delete my orignal list....
More of the channels were clearing but still had a prblem with some but these may be the ones tuned at my house with my setup
I should have deleted all channels and done a complete rescan..
but for now i will delete and try a list form the forum
I have not loaded any channel list but manually scanned (blind scan) all the channels.. I could understand if channel has no signal at all but some channels are gliching so they are there but do not lock on completely.... This also applies to fta channels so c line does not seem to be a problem.. My lnb is very old quad..
What about the frequency setup. Where should it be ?
Strange thing is when i woke this morning and moved my dish to 28.2 east i have noticed my lnb frequency is set to universal(9750-10600).....
But i left it on 5750-5150 last night on 13 east..
Does this alter automatically depending on what sat you are pointing at or should it stay on what it is set at...?
I cannot see a way to save once set. I asume it sets as you exit the antenna setup menu

I have just got an openbox s11..
Some channels on all sats are freezing but seem ok on the dm500s
I noticed the antenna setup shows frequency as 5750-5150 should this not be universal (9750-10600)
I have tried all the frequencies but only get signal on 5150 and 5750-5150
signal intensity 87 and quality 75
I get no signal on any other frequencies...
This is on 13 east.. I will have a go on 28.2 tommorrow

What i was trying to find out was wherether i can set a seperate password for the adult channels and a seperate one for the menu access..
The reason i asked was because i was given the box by a friend to fix. i tried to access the cccam information but the box was blocked via password.
The person that had sold him the box did not want him to know the password...
I cannt remember if adult channels were locked but i asume the pin is different to access menu and cccam information...And the pin for adult channel is seperate.
The s9 has a blind scan option.. Have look in the scan menu and select blind scan and not default setting

On the s9 when you press fav button i get 1 colunm which shows fav1 at the top and fav 12 at the bottom
Pressing ok button gives me 1 colunm of fav .. I dont know if this is what you are asking

You were right the server part was not needed still works after deleting everything i had entered there..

For some reasons i am having problems with this method.. Obvioiusly i am doing something wrong but i will keep playing with this..
I am trying to fix this for a friend so may continue to play later after i buy one of these myself.. either a s11 or s12

this title is very misleading : adding d line to openbox s9 as Dlines are for Gbox and some earlier versions of Mbox,,
and is of a very different format than CCcam or any other emu...

also in newcamnd server stup/nwecamnd server parameter/ turned turned server seetings to.... on
and in newcamnd server user manager/add.............. added the nline user and pass here..
It works but feels i may have done more than i need to add n line ?

I have managed to to add my cline and my nline to the box...
The c line is fine as it shows as online in the manage cccam.cfg window.
My n line which works fine in the dm500s is showing as ok than ko than ok and ok again in a loop...
i have tried adding both via usb together and seperately...
According to what i have read so far it is ok to add via usb named CCCam.cfg to cccam plug or should i be adding it to newcamd. list(MGcamnd plug).. And if this is the case do i rename it from CCcam.cfg to something different?

on my dm500 i have cccan pannel which i can use to see which c line is clearing that particular channel. for example if i had 2 c lines i could tell which was clearing therfore which was quicker...
Is there a way to install this or something similar on the s9
