menu/network setup/mgcamd plug setup/manage config files/newcam.list/add

and enter details here.. you must than save and reeboot to make line active

After reading the posts here on the forum i
managed to install mgcamd on my dm500s box.

added n line to var/keys/newcamd.list by replacing n with CWS = all good so far
also added a c line to cccamd.list .... i think this is correct

using cccam and cccamppannel i could see what servers are connected.
and using web interface ..http://192.168.1.10:16001/ you could also see servers connected etc...

is there a plugin i could load or web interface i can use for mgcamd so i can see what severs are connected and which server is
clearing the current channel.

I still have cccam 2.10 installed... should i remove this..

Dreamup is straight forward but i would like to use this way using telnet because i have never done this before..

The method above does not work fo me . I must be doing something wrong..
I get to the point where it says telnet and copy and paste command.. All looks ok but pressing run does not do anything. the image file is ftp ed into /temp where i have this backup.img plus 7 other files... boot.g, camd.socket, ecm.info, ecm0.info, hotplug.socket, iplog.lo and mmi.socket.....

Thanks for testing on s11. I will add this as soon as sort my fav list and save first..
My wish list for this reciever would be to make it dreamboxedit compatible so editing via pc was simple

Untill someone makes a better editor/loader..
It would be good if drembox edit could be altered in one of the revisions to use this box..

Sorry if this is a stupid question but can this be used on s11...
A lot of posts indicate s9,s10 and s11 are the same or am i reading this wrong.

Currently i have C2HS2-11-10-10:0579CMT with no issues.

It looks like you have set the installation antenna sattelite quick seetings to ... set motor to diseq1.2 on all sattelites... Even though i have no diseq
in satellite list select or add sats u want
in anttena setup turn motor type to diseq.. im not sure about the diseq 1.0 options or diseq 1.1 options

as long as motor type is set to diseq1.2
than go to motor settings and than postion settings....
This now brings up the west east options and i assume the dish can be moved via remote..

I will not bother with this reiever as the main box connected to sat but leave in spare room..
At the moment i can use dm500s connected to satellite and for me this has advantage because at noight i can use laptop to login via web interface and move dish without going downstairs.. I cannot do this on the s11.. if there is a way please let me know...

I will have to stick with sd channels on main box for now ..

well done mate. i gave up with the editors that are supposed to be used with these boxes. They are useless..
So editing channels lists for me seems like sitting infront of the box using the remote to edit. Takes a bloody long time..
If you can use drembox edit to edit that would be great..

An update..

The lnb arrived today and now all channels work fine.
The s11 box shows figures around 73-74 % ie 3 red lights plus 3 yellow lights but picture is not breaking.
Does anyone get into the 3 greens on this box..
I hope it stays like this when it starts raining.

I have an openbox s11 and would like to know if i can be use this to drive a motorise dish with an actuator setup..Not diseq
Currently i have vbox positioner, motorised dish with 36v 18inch posioner..
antenna setup has diseqc 1.0 and 1.1 and motor is off

any simple setup guide
