    i got it down to 2 receivers in the end .

    the octogon or the gigablue .


    went for the cheaper option the octogon and picture quality etc is better than my vu duo .

    if i was to buy another box will be either the gigablue or the dreambox

    hello mate .. thanks luckily my reciever died . bought the octogon reciever which was loaded with the openvix image .

    This is a python 3 and your telnet command workded fine ..

    in settings changed use the pycurl for http to yes plus https -validate to yes


    left everything else ... dont know if tghis was required but from memory it needed doing

    i get the following when running the plugin

    no such file or directory

    cookies cant be saved


    error 2 ni such file or directory /hdd/iptvcashe/cookies/.rw_test


    make sure folder writable


    it could be something to do with my usb or box


    i have formatted my 8gig usb in the laptop, changed permissions to allow everything . than insert this into the back port of the zgemma , initilise this so far no isuues BUT when i go to recording paths and try to set to media /hdd/ movie


    i get thsi message the directory /media /hdd/ is not writable / make sure you select a writable director


    i have tried a few different usbs but no luck

    must be doing something stupid because still not working


    via dcc connect i am using command

    wget -q "--no-check-certificate" https://gitlab.com/zadmario/e2iplayer/-/raw/master/install-e2iplayer.sh?inline=false -O - | /bin/sh


    this installs e2iplayer ok

    now i have downloaded the hostxxx.py for both python 2 and 3 from your link

    using ftp i navigate to iptv player and hosts folder where i have tried both separately ie python 2 and than python 3 files

    this installs


    i than telnet command

    sh /usr/script/e2ipl_xxx_inst_deinst.hidden.sh


    but still get no such file or directory


    i also noticed there is no tsplayer in this ... is this a different version

    give me no such file or directory

  • RECORDING issues vuplus duo 4kse

    ok it looks as if you cannot record iptv if you have 1 simple line

    You cannot record if you 2 or more lines either from different suppliers or the same supplier


    in order to record iptv it looks like you need an iptv line that allows you more than 1 connection

    you can check this using the xstreamity app

    when i try to record an IPTV channel it starts to record but after approx 5 seconds the picture freezes .. i have to change channel and back again and this stops the recording .

    i have tried gthis on the internal hard drive and a few usb sticks in different ports ...


    i have inisitialised the hd and subs and set the correct recording path


    image is open pli 8.2

    media player is gstreamer 1.18.5

  • vu+ duo se 4k DVB S2X FBC Tuner question

    installed openpli . all plugins i use seem fine and a lot more satble than the solo2 box i had . some problems with iptv epg but i think its me and nothing to do with the box . personally glad i bought this .. i will try the openatv image as there is guide on here to follow by KiddaC . hopefully that fixes the epg issue . i get epg but only lasts a day or so than dissapears . does nut remain for gthe 7 days set
