IS this correct method to flash zgemma h9 combo 4k

downoad either 8.1 or 9.0

extract

rename unforce to force

copy all files to root of formatted usb

i have seen many different instructions on how to flash this box. what is the correct way

i want to use open pli image ... there is h9 combo and h9combo se . does not mention 4k .

im assuming mine is the h9 combo [ on the box H9 combo 4k) so not se

there are 2 files _recovery_emmc.zip and _emmc.zip  

some instructions say use only recovery, other say use both without extracting .. what is the correct way

box vuplus duo se 4k

image openpli 8.1

cannot record iptv .. have tried 3 different lines so not line issue .. normal sky FTA record ok

iptv records for approx 10 seconds and disconnects

i have internal hard drive and usb both initialised ..

expert settings/record default timer type = record also tried zap and record

disk space reserver for recording ... tried increasing this

recording paths default movie location /media/hdd

timer recording media/usb

i can find the 10 seconds clip so looks like its getting to where it should . but does not continue to record

tried instant record via red button .. also timer record

any ideas

is there a plugin that allows you to hide plugins . there is a menu sort which is good but can you hide plugins

I will start to set it up later tonight . so far looks good

not the cheap little boxes you get now that come with all the specs but the quality is rubbish .. this looks well build and solid

looking to buy a vu plus duo se 4k box

currently have vuplus solo2 box which was great but now cannot add more than a few plugins without running out of space .. tried flash expander but does not help

also have a zgemma h9 combo . the remote is crap . works but do not personally like this box . ok cheap box

also have fire stick 4k max ... picture quality is not as good as my solo2 box .. good for iptv but limited on skins etc

on the new vu plus duo se 4k : a few questions

is picture quality good ... any boxes that are better ... was also looking at qigablue quad

is the remote decent in sensitivity or do you need to aim well like the zgemma remote

can i install a lot of plugins without the box crashing like my solo2 box

there seems to be many tuner options on the duo 4k se

i have sky uk 28.2 and iptv ... is this tuner (cheapest option ) ok for me 1 X DVB -S2X FBC twin tuner ok ...

does this allow watching one channel and recording another ?

also have motorised sat but do not use ..

could also bring 2 feeds in from sky dish via twin lnb if this would be useful ?

basic question ... is this basic tuner ok for me .. do not need cable or terrestial channels ...

Hi,

i have 2 routers .. my main is virgin media set to 192.168.0.1

I have connected a lynksys ea 9500 v2 to this as the second router .. this is on 192.168.1.1

The lynksys is set as a vpn router using ipvanish settings ... The ip vanish account is not a genuine one

when i connect my vuplus solo2 to the vpn router using ethernet it works perfectly with the correct ip/country set on the vpn router. I can use my laptop to connect to the virgin media roouter and all is well .. If i use the laptop and the same ip vanish account from the laptop app still no problems both vuplus and laptop on vpn using same account but the vuplus and the laptop showing different external ip addresses .

THe problem arises when i use my laptop to connect to the vpn router as well as my vuplus box which is already connected to the vpn router via ethernet. both laptop and vuplus start to loose connection .. the vuplus does not show an ip and the laptop also starts to disconnet from the vpn router and tries to connect to virgin media router

Is the problem the dogy ipvanish account. is it possibly set to allow me one connection to the router. but seems ok when i connect using ipvanish app on laptop than connect this way ... Any ideas
