    I could try only today and, before doing what you suggested, I installed the last 1.16.
    When you say to put "disable" ServiceApp, in the OBH GUI I suppose it means I have to sei it as "Predefined/Predefinito", becaise I don't have the disable feature.

    Unfortunately, I still don't get any channel. I wonder if it's a problem with Ultimo4K (not with OBH 5.4, as I read someone who succeed in using vavoo under such image) because I read that piterfree has problems in post 685 with Ultimo4K and OpenATV.

    I'll try as soos as possible on Solo4K.


    But I'd really like to have it working on Ultimo4K... :winking face:

    Tried (again, I usually try different settings) as you say after having installed 1.14.
    Whatever channel I try nothing happens. I didn't try again the export,as you say is not compulsory.

    the log you posted is useless.. you need the whole log while you use the plugin.. and it is much longer than yours :)

    Unfortunately, that was the vavoo log produced...
    As for the setting is cncerned, I read in your post#1 that you have to set
    ServiceApp as Player mode to use

    Exteplayer3 as player.


    as in the attachment. Is it wrong?

    And, above all, do I need to export the favourite into a dedicated bouquet in order to view or I can simply press OK on the channel? Because the crash happens only if I try to add the favourite and I suppose this should not be related to the ServiceApp setting. Am I wrong?

    Hello: I have OpenBH 5.4 and Ultimo4K. I installed the 1.12 and:

    1) if I press OK over any of the channels, it simply produces nothing (the screen get black and, after a while, it gets back to the list).

    2) I tried to export some favourites but the image crashes.
    ServiceApp is active and exteeplayer3 set as default and the vavoo server is set to vavoo.to


    I followoed the instructions to produce the vavoo.log:


    [Enigma2] PYTHONPATH: /usr/lib/enigma2/python

    [Enigma2] DVB_API_VERSION 5 DVB_API_VERSION_MINOR 12

    Hi, which URL does your script read the emm from? I can't see anything in your script.
    And, is it true what gobi2000 says in post #678 that, in order to be working, "for this script you need a tv-sat cam, logger and sniffi for your cpu model of the receiver"?

  • Effective way to prefer local cards to other readers

    Hello,

    despite all my efforts, every options and every parameters I've chose so far to have the local cards preferred to other readers, have failed.


    In oscam.server I have, for each of my cards, this


    lb_weight = 999

    lb_force_fallback = 1


    (I also tried higher values but it was the same).


    In oscam.conf I have:


    [global]

    waitforcards = 0

    waitforcards_extra_delay = 200

    preferlocalcards = 2

    readerrestartseconds = 1

    dropdups = 1

    lb_mode = 1

    lb_nbest_readers = 4

    lb_nfb_readers = 4



    Why my oscam (any of them) often use additional readers instead of the local cards?!? I'm getting crazy...

    So, it's not my oscam.server the problem? Only the specific oscam you mention is able to update the emm automatically?

    Because here is my oscam.server and it again did not update after the last change.

    My oscam is: OSCam: 1.20_svn Build: r11725 Compiler: arm-oe-linux-gnueabi

    and I've got a VU+ Ultimo4K with OBH 5.3.009 installed.


    To update the emm I had, again, to launch it by the webif but the strange is that if I try by the URL line in the webif itself (in the file path field), I get an error message:


    FILE: https://pastebin.com/raw/JJ3TCsGV not found

    although the same url perfectly works in a browser and the same emm in the website worked, as always.


    Anyway, I paste my oscam.reader in case anyone would check if something is wrong. I deleted from it this line

    #emmcache = 1,3,2,0

    as I read it was advised to do that.

    I have the rsakey I've been using for years: do I need to change as I read somewhere?

  • Oscam help - read local usb cardreader first

    I know this is an old thread but it's quite well done and the issue specifically treated.

    And it is an issue that's really driving me crazy. I have studied all the oscam wiki sections, although they oftem seem like the help of motherboard BIOS setups... almost telling us the obvious!

    I have tried

    First of all, in my case my two cards are in the two STB's slots: so, no USB external reader.

    Secondly, the strange is that only one of two cards has this problem, of not being preferred to external servers, the Tivusat one.

    I wonder if the responsible is, instead, the oscam.srvid...

    It's a true pity that this plugin has not been updated anymore and now it has problem with the enigma2 python3 images (that means all of the main ones).

    It's a pity because the distinctive plus of this pugin is the alias feature, something totally unknown to EPGimport.

    So, I have a lot of channels, now, without the EPG, although I could pick it from other channels with the same names, because the alias script it's not compatible to Python3... Pity, pity, pity.

  • Autotimer's LOG

    Hello,

    I've been using Autotimer for years but it had never happened what's going on in this last period: it adds timer that shouldn't be added. I've always checked all my autotimers parameters (search strings, above all) but there is no explanation why it keeps adding a particular series.

    I'd like to know if there is a LOG file somewhere specific for Autotimer: does such a logfile exist?

    Exactly, is the only file MacOs western... but why on earth the need of making thins strange? My image is perfect and there's no bug (as a mod from other forums and experienced and advanced user) but, in general, if you save a script not in UTF-8 in OBH 5.x, which is py3, this causes crashes. So, I repeat: why on earth risking odd behaviours just for a not standard encoding in a simple text file? I really do not understand the need.
