Huh, about blindscan; I think that i have posted some ramblings about that and 3 ways that OEM do it. It is not the same for each box.
Re: zap speed; frankly there is nothing in the code that could make it slower (not talking about history zap options, oversized picons, etc...). Same channels, FTA, not scrambled (oscam retention, emu delay, etc).

Great to have such useful feedback from you guys. Thx! I hope we have some nice things in our kitchen very soon.

Audio is just fine on Zeros.

saragusa, huhh sort of hard to tell... just have checked motor stuff on v 6.5 for some Broadcom and HiSilicon boxes and all seems rather nice, even with weak signals (although, there is a manufacturer's dependent policy --> whether to lock the signal before it is "clear" or to have it "off" until cleared ), it is really up to drivers and interaction with, say, oscam or card reader). Then again, I haven't been stateside for some time, so not really sure what really happens there (with local sats) :(
-
Ahoi after some time:)
Uhh, auto updates on v 6.5 would be risky and counter productive as the base (actually all the code) changes every week or so. E principe we do post when an OnLine flash is needed.
Regarding the motor/rotor issues, I'm not aware of any as I do use it on a daily basis. Ok, maybe there is some drama with AX61, but perhaps my box is kaput (or new drivers suck a bit?) :)

Ah well, Kodi is another story :)

Images that were flashed before 3.4.2020 DO need to be reflashed as too many things have changed in the meantime.
Actually there is probably very few bytes that were left unchanged, so...(gcc 9.3 changed, many sys level libs have changed, e2 code has changed, plugins as well, gstreamer, ffmpeg.... and so on.
I do realize that this "reflash" is not really fun for the users, but I think we do post when it is needed in advance. Version 6.5 is really "bleeding edge" with latest stuff, but we do try to spare users from unnecessary trouble with reflashing whenever possible. Sadly, sometimes, it just cannot be avoided. Sorry.
As per FF/REW with VODs, ah well, the classic way in E2 is to use 1, 4, 7 for tiny, medium, coarse REW and 3, 6, 9 for slow, medium, fast FF. If we add FF/REW buttons, there is going to be a complaint why is it so small/big, whatever :), but ok, maybe sometimes in the future.
At the moment, frankly, we do not see it as a big problem. -
A bit non related, well, sort of; there is work being done on dmm One, some things work pretty well, but , alas, at the moment no audio on DVB:(. Anyway, it is PIA.
-
I cannot see such a problem.

From your posts in the other thread, it seems you have some issues with the box. It is always nice and easy to blame pure2, but it seems to work on dm900 box for many other users.
-
6.5 is build on openssl 1.1.x version. We need it for our libs and plugins. No idea what happens in 3rd party plugins.
-
reflashed with the latest version ?
-
6.3 version should be updated soon solving glitches (frankly, our screw up as we are focused @ 6.5) about timezone and then some details. New and more able boxes are likely to get more attention in 6.5 version as it it gives us more freedom to do interesting things in the future.

Uhh, which box, which image version, which kodi version? It is kinda complicated :) Alas, perhaps, the best to try it out.
From the personal experience (not that heavy as I'm not regular Kodi user) it seems to me that 18.x version is much more demanding on the box than 17.x and only the latest boxes can make some sense out of it. Then again, I might be wrong. -
Great to hear that new DMM mipsels are working ok, we really have no chance to test this. Thx
-
Great, thx on a report! Sometimes it is a bit complicated to fix stuff that was not meant to run on sh4 or mips :)
-
ok, I guess it does not work...
-
There is a slim chance that a simple SW update might solve yify-fnc drama for mipsel and sh4 in 6.5. A slim one, but still a chance. As none from the team can test it, some feedback would be welcome. Btw, sh4 boxes, however loved and worshiped, are probably not happy with with this plugin as it really needs a lot of horsepower, well, ok, in some cases and moments.
-
Thx on a report, we are all a bit low on mips boxes and libs for yify are really big, complicated and none is meant to support sh4 or mipsel. Maybe sometime in the future this should be solved.
