    Main Stuff would be


    70/80/90 Soul, Funk and Motown.....apparently conceived on it lol
    Do like a bit of Conscious Rap (Sorry Ricochet)
    The Old R n B actual Rhythm and Blues and the more Modernised stuff from the past 10/15 years!
    Catch myself singing along to various Oldies before my time for some reason so my ear must like that!
    Funky House.....always needed when concentrating or Running!


    Like beats so anything Funky with Substance and a groove normally suits!


    Bit of Reggae as its in the blood lol but sometimes even that BASS is to much lol!


    Don't really do the Modern Stuff/Pop e.t.c all sounds the same....but nowadays a lot of music does.....bring back the oldies anyday!


    Quiet strange this topic as im organising a Christening for my boys and the Music list is all but sorted now!

  • Detecting/preventing clines being re-shared!

    Im sure others will add perhaps more technical ways but the Main issue would be TRUST! If you Trust the people you share with then there should be no need to worry?


    A few things to perhaps look out for


    High ecm times being received?
    I know Oscam will show a red circle with a number in it if a line is being shared (If you get this red circle for long periods of time chances are there reusing the line on the same IP/Same house)
    Different IP addresses connecting!


    These are a few i look out for......there's some more information that may be of use below! Mainly the use of putting re-share on a line! Should be worth a look!

  • Can't find CCcam.cfg after Image update!

    Have you got TSPANEL installed? If not install it lol if so download the Cccam from there thats easiest way!


    When installed reboot box and file should be there......updating images will remove Cams/Plugugins e.t.c


    ftp and change the file and you should be sorted!


    Failing that ftp file in Bannys post to /tmp file on box


    Install local extension from BH Menu - and select the file


    Should kick off install - Reboot and Cccam should be present!


    Select Cccam in your Softcam Settings and connect to the box and change Cccam.cfg file


    Simples!

    Now you have located the Hub if you use 001:005 in you oscam server file and RESTART OSCAM ONLY it should pick it up and read the card!



    From what you email is stating....if the reader isn't/wasn't connect to server then how can it be read/transmit????



    Just bare in mind again.....When you restart your Server your USB port IDs may change........If you don't need to
    restart SERVER(PC) just restart OSCAM in Webif.....leave it a little while and log back in!

    Almost everything you have asked about since joining has been covered in some shape or form within the forum....whilst i appriciate that it may not have been
    like for like e.t.c....Setting Up Errors, Connecting Errors, Omnikey and Smargo Setup, USB Hub problems the list goes on are all covered here as these
    are probably the most covered Problems/Topics within CS.......keeping a clear mind whilst reading the info and trying before posting should
    get you there...after all when your setup you need to know exactly how everything works and what problems may occur!!



    As a support Forum run and maintained by Admin and Users off there own back your level of service/help/support looking back the attention to your problems from
    all the various users has been second to none....laid out clearly with various links and examples...with response times better than Harrods lol and you have to spend money there!

    Could be a few issues?


    If it is regular is it an reboot script...but doesnt look that way


    Have you got a MaxLogsize reference in any of you Oscam files? You can set it so that when the log file reaches a certain size it restarts?


    Could be a restart on a crash script?


    Look at your logs and see what happens before and after it restarts, any reference to error,max log, crash e.t.c


    Just wondering if its restarting

    No it wont mate....leave it on that channel over night....daily....at some point you will see EMMs being written to card in the Readers section of Oscam!


    Ok then you may have to configure the settings for Oscam then inline with the posts above!


    Just a case trial and error and waiting till they update.....but they should do if you follow the configs that have been proven to work!

  • VU-DUO & Panasonic 42" LED/3D TV

    If you have an original Duo mate every image version should be ok,


    Issues are only with Clones and they are only effected after 1.7.5 BH and .155 Vix image!


    Not to sure whether it would make too much difference TBH but maybe worth upgrading as there are New Drivers for Vu also


    Just do a Backup anyway just in case!

    I think thats the best output you will get bud! as the Duo doesn't support 1080P i think very few actually do/or very few broadcasters transmit real 1080P


    That should be good enough though Bud...i am certainly happy with it!

    may have to do a bit of playing on refresh rate, sharpness e.t.c to suit your preferences....pick a good movie/or sports program and use that as guide
    as most colours, activity e.t.c will show for these channels so you can see whats best!


    I think the Duo2 will support 1080P due out this year, but as post says above not sure if broadcasters are transmitting it yet?

    don't quote me on it but if you used Oscam to update on box and it did that ok! the settings should be similar so look there first and compare with settings in the post!


    Im sure if you leave on i think pick tv or something like that you should see EMMS written/received by card.....this should indicate that your card will update!

  • Faulty Image Flash

    As per Bannys post install your Cams MGCAMD?Cccam and you keys folder should be populated with example files!


    Copy your files into this folder and you should be sorted!


    I hope you kept a copy lol


    Upgrading Images/Cams plugins e.t.c normally remove/re-install the temporary ones!

    Your Entitlements are your packages so presume freesat has one more package then sly?

    All these cover what settings e.t.c you need to configure for it to update!


    I don't think there is an actual way of telling until the card up dates though so to speak? You should receive EMM's though for the card reader in Oscam Webif though which should be indication that its receiving something! Your card should update within 4/6 weeks of being due?


    May be a trial and error scenario so you will need to keep an eye on it!
