You should only care about your centre sat to begin with. Get the signal as high as possible on that and the rest will work... As long as you set angles correctly.

Don't try to configure the motor/sat up on the ladder.

Set the motor angle and mount the dish as precise as possible on the ground first (using the data in the manual), then never adjust them again.

I saw your photo and it looks like you have been sliding around the motor angle because its all scratched up.

The only adjustment you should be making is the whole thing around the pole.

Once that is set you can fine tune the dish angle tiny amounts.

Only adjust here...

Ok, but not knowing for example the 7E is a strong satellite that in my part I should hook strong or not, in order not to stay there maybe many days to try to increase the signal it is maybe that satellite more than that signal is not possible.

The satellites that interest me are the following: 7E / 9E / 10E / 13E / 16E / 19.2E / 28.2E / 30W. These are the main satellites that interest me.

Can you tell me for each satellite the frequencies to test to understand the overall signal on each satellite? Can you tell me for each satellite listed the lowest frequencies to verify the signal. I think that if on a low frequency I will have an excellent signal, all the other following frequencies will be better, so as to have an excellent signal for each satellite.

if possible have this:

7E -- ( frequency ) -- srn= (the power you should have on that frequency)

9e -- ( frequency ) -- srn= (the power you should have on that frequency)

10e -- ( frequency ) -- srn= (the power you should have on that frequency)

13e -- ( frequency ) -- srn= (the power you should have on that frequency)

16e -- ( frequency ) -- srn= (the power you should have on that frequency)

in doing so I try to reach that signal strength or at least get as close as possible, and in addition I will immediately have a picture of the situation if I am proceeding correctly.

Ah ok, unfortunately I can't look at the engine from behind alone at the dish frontally, (everything is installed on the pole looking at everything frontally, there is a vacuum on the back)

here is a demonstration image, (I don't remember the satellite hooked up when the photo was taken, image inserted to make the situation of the dish understand that it cannot be operated from behind the mtore as there is a vacuum)

Hello everyone, FYI, it's the longitude you need to report on your engine and for you, given the rendering, it's not 17.... but 1.7, so you have to stick to this sat. ....to 1.9 https://fr.kingofsat.net/pos-1.9E.php

For example at home the longitude was 6.7 and I was not looking for a sat at 67 degrees, but as said above, at 7° east.....

See how there is the same error at both ends of the arc where they don't line up?

But if I rotate around 42E the error becomes much more serious on the right side of the arc...

Remember this is just 1 degree of error. This is why it is important to get the centre for your location.

Whatever has most straight line on map is your centre.

I have always used dishpointer as mentioned in the previous post

currently with the 100 dish more than the quality that I managed to get I can't,

tomorrow with a new 80 dish I'll try and check everything, first I'll start with setting 16E as the primary satellite.

I know that you will solved your "problem" with new dish.

I think so too, this 100 dish just bought I don't know why but it has always given problems, mounted on the pole aimed at 13E the maximum signal I could find was 60% maximum 70% with an 80cm dish always mounted on the same pole, same lnb , same cable, the signal is 91%.

With a larger dish, shouldn't it increase and give a better signal?

The more i think about this, the more i am coming to the conclusion that panda and Chris230291 are correct.

As to how much difference it will make actually make, i am not sure, after all the motor is designed to pan the full arc, and the arc never changes.

From the map above then 16east is closest to your due south.

So if your up for messing about with your setup yet again, it would be interesting to see the results.

I've already tried many times (I've been trying for several months) with a setting of 16e set as the starting satellite, but only when I set 0.8w as the starting satellite that I found a significant difference in signal, tomorrow I'll take a 80cm dish because when I mounted the 80cm one I didn't have all these problems I'm having with this 100cm one.

p.s. there is nothing to apologize because what you offered me was advice so there is absolutely nothing to apologize

as I take the 80cm one tomorrow I will set it up again with the 16e satellite as primary let's see what happens.
