what would recomend as a good receiver that is going to do both linux and android,since we now are sure dreambox seven is not happening and not likely that it will as Dreambox .de site has also closed?? I donot know of a good dual receiver that can match dreambox seven spec.do you?

but crash logs are needed as well as info on why the plugin doesnt show in the list.in other words the info about what the box is complaining about after a reboot when menu followed by plugins is selected.

also,if the plugin is not open source and is in pyo format (machine code) then it first has to be decompiled to py format (human readable code) to be able to edit it,very easy to do,but not everyone knows how.

but the answer to your question is yes it can be done as the devixified plugins that ive edited in the past to run on BH show.
