It is possible and not difficult to do. But in this case, it will become a full-fledged plugin, not a "Linux daemon"

On Openpli9.0 on gigablue it works on Openatv 7.3 the receiver crash

No log - no problems!
p.s. from a "technical" point of view, this is not really a plugin, it's a kind of proxy-"daemon" that starts before Enigma2 and generally does not depend on the Enigma2 framework ...and the image doesn't matter... the main thing is that your Linux-based OS has Python3

Not really a plugin but a daemon. Just do a ps -ef and you will see it.
I have same problem with dreambox 7080 open ATV 7.3,what is ps-ef ? how to do that?

Hi, I´m not a Linux guy, just a user. I installed the plugin to stream Live Tv from Zattoo.
Now I´m stuck on the point I see the plugin installed, but have no idea what to do next in order to get the Zattoo streams.
I´m on OpenVIX 6.4 on a Gigablue UHD 4k UE.
Could you give a step by step instruction on how to achieve the goal for non Linux experts? That would be very appreciated :-)
