If this not help then please enable debug logs in the IPTVPlayer configuration (almost last option on the list "Debug logs" change it to "yes, to file /hdd/iptv.dbg") and then reproduce your problem and provide debug logs to me.

After correct resolving reCaptcha and got message "No items to disaplays" you should press OK to refresh.

You want modify source code and disable update? This is really bad idea.

If you will overwrite source code files of the IPTVPlayer then you made plugin unstable.

For example after update, some files will be new and some old modified by you, then plugin became unstable.

IPTVPlayer was always written to be super stable. Using original IPTVPlayer you will not see green/blue screen and unexpected Enigma2 restart.

But some users which are using, incorrectly modified source code or even skin, have such problems.

The problem is that sometimes they do not know that they are using modified version.

Sometimes modifies are hidden for example after each Enigma2 restart change part of source code files of the IPTVPlayer from Enigma2 start script.

You should NEVER modify source code of any plugin and there is no such need to make custom skin.

Plugin can be skinned. The default skins in the source code is not a problem.

This is not problem at all.

I hope that you know how custom skins works in the Enigma2, at least you should know since you want to make such.

When you put your custom skin (for specific screen) in the skin.xml file then this one will be used not the default one from source code.

So, what exactly problem do you have?

then I will made review of your changes and accept them if they will be correct.

You still not answered from which service you try to download subtitles.

Anyway, I think that the error message is clear.

There is problem to write subtitles file to directory /hdd/IPTVCache/

So, the question is if this location exists and there is free space?

You can always change folder for cache data in the IPTVPlayer configuration.

You should set folder located on the hdd/pendrive connected to your set-top-box.

Regarding pornography content:

I am an opponent of pornography. There will be never any pornographic service in the IPTVPlayer.

I know that some users make own host for such content but they are not from me and they are not official IPTVPlayer hosts.

No it is not possible.

Please provide debug logs.

Frist you need to select "Do not install" then go to IPTVPlayer configuration and change option "Debug logs" (almost last on list) to "yes, to file /hdd/iptv.dbg"

Then make Enigma2 restart and once again go to IPTVPlayer and try to install exteplayer3. After this copy debug logs /hdd/iptv.dbg from you STB and provide here.

Then I will check what the problem is.

You have problem "Downloading cannot be started" because you did not agree to install utilities like "hlsdl".

First time after restart Enigma2 and start IPTV Player it ask you to install several utilities.

You did not agree and you have problem.

So, what you expect? What should I fix? It was your choice.

I really do not know what you are using.

I am not develop anything called "bcc iPlayer".

I am developer of the IPTVPlayer plugin.

I hope you see diffrence.

So, I must ask once again. Are you using IPTVPlayer?

I do not think that you are talking about IPTVPlayer.

If you really use plugin IPTVPlayer then please describe localization of this video you try to play.

unrar is utility on your system. So, what for did you try to re-install IPTV Player.

It really do not have any sense. When subtitles are provided as RAR archive then you need to have unrar utlitlity to be able to extract them.

You must ask on support your of your Enigma2 distribution and ask how to install unrar.
