Ok so now got newcamd going still freezing on encrypted channels from my local card however fta channels are fine any clues I'm reading older libreelec version was better?

If encrypted channel are freezing, check your server/box settings that you are using to share your card.
it's not a problem with libreelec or wetek play.
I run libreelec 7.90.007 which is the latest beta version that had kodi 17.
It works smoothly.

If you are going to use libreelec and tvh, you won't need Oscam because tvh is already newcamed

The tutorial on first page of this thread is awesome.
Just make sure that once you are up and running, that you do a backup and save the file on your PC.
If you ever have problem, you can wipe the card and load the backup image

You are better off using libreelec, please download the libreelec SD-USB app, it will format and write libreelec on the SD card for you.

Please is there any way to setup Channel Tag / Bouquet on TVHEADEND without having to do it manually by clicking each channel, it's a bit tedious and time consuming.

If you are using wetek play box, I will suggest to contact their support team to check your tuner.

I had exactly same problem as you, wetek box with openelec on MicroSD

I have dual sat feed to the box but can only find about 160 channels on 28.2e.
One tuner wasn't working hence unable to pull in all the channels

Check the tutorial section of wetek play.
I use openelec on micro SD, I guess the setup will be same for openelec on nand

I'm trying to get timeshift to work and set the storage path pointing to the HDD attached to my wetek.

Attached picture shows the storage path My HDD is named SEAGATE and the storage folder name RECORDING, however timeshift is not working because the Forward and backward button is still greyed out on openelec.

Can someone please have a look at the attached picture and confirm if i set the storage path correct.

Im trying to get the picons on my openelec backup, do you mean executing mkdir /storage/picons on PuTTY and on TVheadend picon path add ///storage/.kodi/picons?

codar you are correct with about the RCU, it interfere with each box (it uses radio) so I have now bought two Logitech k400 keyboard and two 32GB mSD cards.

Copied my backup to the new cards, everything working ok except that one box does not load EPG.

I forced a “rescan” and “trigger OTA EPG grabber” on Tvheadend for both boxes, however the box that does not load EPG, can only pull 117 channels from the rescan as against 722 channels on the box that load EPG.

Any ideas what the problem might be codar and mach1 and how I can get EPG to load please.

Thanks guys, any Idea how I can force tvheadend to use the two tv adaptors? And also force a channel rescan?
Tvheadend on my box have 720 channels on Astra 28.2e but cousin's box can only pick 132 channels
