You can make your own favs lists too..that way you will have it at hand....
it is timely first time round but once done keep a backup of it then everytime you update settings you simply add it ..
just imagine how would you press M for MTV when there are so many versions of it on diff sats.. not for me at least...

FTP to /etc/enigma2 > settings > right click to edit and check if you can see similar in the list:
as long as you have something similar you should be Ok

You need ot have at least scanned a sat or have a settings installed otherwise crossepg has nothing to look for..

tell us which box ,,image version,,,,
the more info you give the more we can find a possible solution..
update your signature so you dont have to keep repeating yourself..

I have just gone for example ,, religious channels bouquet, press MENU > remove entry> reboot and they have gone....
so obviously if you consider the few users who have come across this problem and the amount of users who have not.. ( head scratching)
I usually use BH images and catseye settings on both UNO + DUO2..

as for ticking extra epgs if you are on that sat as I mentioned before then the epg will download for you.
if you use filezilla then look in media/usb/crosspeg folder in the penstick where you should have them mapped to when you set up crossepg.
you should see epg.dat inside the crossepg folder.

Crossepg downloader can be set for a time to download ,,i.e : 4am to a usb stick for example..
Crossepg will only download on the platform that the stb is on,,, i.e : s l y uk ,
but if you wish to download other platforms on other sats then you need to move the dish to there..

I have tried various things ,too many to mention but no joy so far.....
the problem is the lamedb ,etc which I cant get access to...
perhaps over a few beers on a sunny afternoon you can scan them..
this seems to give better options for your case : sat.xml

give me the sats you want to install then 5 mins and I will try something out..

Then you havent understood me either...LoL...
Dreamset will not do that as you have already found out,,so heres a way round it..
using DCC or filezilla FTP the sat.xml file over to the box as I explained before.
Then restart the box and you should have all the sats you downloaded..
75ºE is below the horizon for me in Spain for example

Now go into dreamsat- read files from the box - tick the ones you want or dont want( its been a long time since i´ve used editors)
then once you are happy with the ones you want - write them back to the box and you´re done..
btw .. I notice your IP is in Europe, are you sure you can pick up the signal from the sats you want???

As I dont know which image you are using etc
using DCC or filezilla,
FTP into etc/tuxbox and you will see the older sats.xml file there..
simply FTP the new one in its place to overwrite it
then restart the box.. you should then see the sats/channels you wish

Buddy you haven´t given any info about your setup image ,etc ,,and I don´t have a crystal ball..
So I can only go on what you write,,, you said the channel was blank , you have got epg populated it´s only now you mention you have a sub for it...
You have 100% support here but we are not mind readers,,

Do a sat scan on 28.xºEast on the box to get all recent changes...
the last catseye E1 is dated 15.02.2014 .....
btw : you´re only missing cardiff-liverpool halftime at the moment...LoL..
