Are you scanning one transponder or the whole satellite, just a thought?
Sounds like it isn´t on the right sat as no lock on signal.....
I would swing the motor around with the fta box leave it on a 30ºw fta open channel
then before connecting the cable to the dreambox, leave the dreambox on the same channel.
connect the cable and tell us what happens next..
make sure you have already added an up-to-date settings to the dreambox as I have already mentioned.. -
apparently its yet another poor version of an openbox,if thats possible, and works the same way..
so I would backup the image/settings then follow the openbox methods.. -
How do you know you have a good signal on 30ºW if you cannot get a lock on ??
try any one of these E1 SETTINGS
Using dreamset or dreambox editor to ftp them over....
then restart box.. you should get a lock on it then.. -
you probably need to rescan the sat or install an up to date sat.xml file

Hi, my cline must hold both Viacces and SECA Csat cards and keeps swapping between the 2 encryptions causing freezing. Is it possible to do something so only SECA is selected and Viacess ignored?
Thanks for any advice as I'm new to this.
Unrar the file onto desktop then FTP this CCcam.priority file over into /etc .
restart stb and let us know how you get on... -
Is this what you say is possible if I have BH 2.0.4 installed and running on my Vu Duo
No buddy.. you cant update from BH 2.0.4.
In your case you need to do a fresh install .
Updating images is only possible from the root image 2.0.9 to 2.0.9.1 -
If you either set up a favourites bouquet yourself or use an already made channel settings bouquet such as catseye
then you will find everything in order simply by pressing the blue button
it really couldn´t be simpler than that.... -
any as long as they have elp all on m8
Sorry bud ,you need to specify a bit more ¿ whats elp ???
if you are after EPL then ts media has various addons like sportsdevil ,etc
an alternative is iptv updater list plugin... -
does any 1 know how to get it ie plugin or on ts media elp all seem to be on there with stream or were to find it ie in plugins
Are you referring to the icelandic sports channels?
Haven´t seen or heard of it before buddy that´s why I am asking.. -
just found this dated 14.03.2014:

Display MoreSPAIN The lower third of the country has lost all BBC. Dishes of 3 metres are receiving no signal in Costa Del Sol. Most dishes in the Málaga region are 1.2m (1.3m vertically) which will just get the Europe beam used by ***'s pay channels. However, no BBC, ITV, Channel Four and associated channels will be received. If you have an Irish *** card you will be able to watch C4, E4 More 4 Ireland. The only ITV channels which can be received are ITV 2,3,4 in HD as part of the *** HD pack. The cut off point seems to be around Mojácar. To the north, some dishes are still working. To the south, there are no reports of any dish of any size still receiving the BBC. In Quesada, 1.8m is OK, as is a 1.9m in Alicante. In Benidorm, 1.2m is OK. Mazarrón seems to be OK with 1.8m. A 2.4m in this region gives good rain margin. In Asturias, Cantabria and the Basque country, many dishes have stopped working. 1.2m to 1.5m may now be needed. Galicia now needs 1.5 metres, as does northern Portugal. In León, a 1.5 receives nothing, as does an 80cm in Vitoria-Gasteiz. In the Balearics, many dishes are still working. Barcelona and Catalunya are now in a dead spot, with no measurable signal. Previously, 80-90cm dishes were used. The signal starts to appear north of the French border. Southern Catalunya is better, around Tortosa 1.8 m dishes are working. There are reports of people planning 3.0 metre dishes in Catalunya. It remains to be seen if they will work.CodeCANARY ISLANDS Dishes of 2.4 to 3.2 now necessary. In Gran Canaria, a good quality, and expensive, 2.4 m ChannelMaster type is needed with a top quality LNB, but it seems this is too small in Tenerife. 3.1 m working in Lanzarote, as well as a 3 m in Adeje, Tenerife. 5 metres in Tenerife.CodeMENORCA BBC signals have disappeared on 1.2 m dishes, which 90% of expats have. 1.8 m is the new minimum. Only 2.4 m ***ware dishes (formerly ChannelMaster) give good rain margin.QuoteDisplay More
Receiving the BBC:
1.8 m Prime Focus in Alcúdia, Mallorca
1.45 m Prime Focus W. of Cartegena, (marginal reception)
1.8 m ChannelMaster in Tortosa, a 1.2 m is marginal in the same area
90 cm in Madrid, no rain margin
120 cm Madrid, reasonable rain margin
2.4 m Montserrat, nr. Valencia, working 100%
1.9 m Torrevieja, Costa Blanca
1.3 m in Pontevedra, Galicia, no rain margin
1.4 m in Hondón, 20 Km W. of Alicante, 1.2 m in same area
1.9 m, 18 km W. of San Javier Airport, Murcia
1.9 m in Mazarrón
1.45 m in Daya Nueva, Alicante
1.9 m in Alcossebre, Castellón
1 m in Oliva, Costa Blanca.
Location: Just north of Huercal-Overa, Almeria Spain ( 37° 29’ N, 1° 56’W) Equipment: 1.6m dish (1.7m tall), Amstrad DRX890 2TB ***+ HD box Reception: Varies during the day. In the morning CH4 and 5 are available, BBC1/2 a weak (can get a picture but it breaks up a bit) but can’t get ITV1. During the day (yesterday) all BBC channels were lost as well as CH4 and CH5 (but CH5 HD ok). However, after 10pm I was getting a good signal on BBC 1 & 2 (SD), ITV (SD), CH4 (inc CH4 HD) and CH5. Also I can now get ALL *** movies channels (never been possible to get all since we came to Spain 4 years ago).
Nigel, Huercal-Overa, Almeria
I have checked all my channels this morning and have lost none that I can see. I am at Rojales on the edge of Quesada, Alicante province. I have a self installed 1.8 off set Channel Master dish (I am a retired TV engineer) using a Humax (foxsat hdr) freesat rx. At the moment we have heavy cloud cover but no rain, it will be interesting to see what happens when it does rain.
Neville, Quesada, Alicante Province
1.45 dish used with Bush SD Freesat. Initially BBC channels became very (very) marginal but regional versions seemed unaffected. Lots of unexplained instances of picture but no sound. All seemed to recover after time. Today I did a freesat retune, and all BBC channels are back albeit with much reduced signal strength. These are almost sure not to provide a rain margin. So many non freesat channels have moved recently its worth a retune anyway. My friends have a 2.4 in Moraira (northern costa blanca) report reduced signal strength but still well within margins
Stuart, Guardamar, Torrevieja
La Manga club near Cartegena Murcia 1.8 m dish Humax reciever reception good on all channels BBC change over channels lost in afternoon but having dish realigned brought signal back to green bands , quality better than strength just in green band
Andrew, Cartegena, Murcia
Whilst I am aware of the forthcoming loss of the ITV, BBC, 5 and and channel 4 programmes, I would like to know why, and by whom, was the decision taken to take such action. Bearing in mind that the size of the ex-pat population here in Spain alone has to exceed, or at the very least be approaching the 1 million mark, was the decision based purely on the desire to improve the signal to the UK, if so to what or who’s advantage, or was it a “political” decision based upon the somewhat not too smooth political relationship between the UK and Spain. I realise that this change affects other countries in Europe, which makes it all the more difficult to understand. Talking to a few of the Spanish people here in the village, they watch UK TV via freesat because the programmes are in general better than the home grown ones and they get better news coverage. they are not happy with the changes being made at all!

Not at all buddy..
this is not a "I-know-do-you" thread..
It´s just about everyone´s grain of sand on the subject...

Haha why dont you tell me something i do not know...of course i am aware of this but we were talking about I®deto on other sats or the possibilty of hacked keys on other encryptions.
Either you don´t understand that I am responding to the user (macsporran) who asked the question and for anyone else who did too.
Now ,,why don´t you tell us something that we don´t already know!!!QuoteDo you think that I would receive this in the Caspe,Spain. I have a 1 metre dish. which of the 2 do you think I should opt for you state forget 27 west why?
I don´t know anyone in Caspe to ask but in West Torrevieja it´s exactly as sly pirate has already mentioned...no BBC/ITV/CH4/ IrishTV....
As already pointed out too 27ºw stopped working some time ago for BISS keys..If you want to see what you can recieve in a certain area from ASTRA then use their official chart..
( although it is not 100% correct in my case )HOW TO RECIEVE ASTRA DIGITAL TV from THIS POST
I am currently trying to get a "loan" of a 1.5 dish to test...
will report whenever.. -
ftp into usr/lib/enigma2/python/plugins/extensions and check if folder is still there..
you can right click to eliminate then restart stb then reinstall ipk.. -

I,m afraid not everything is free in this world cazuela and thats the reason you have a black screen in your testing...what did you expect? keys were available before in cryptoworks but providers change things dont they.
keys are not necessary for astra 28.xºE and never have been.
I never suggested it would be same for other sats buddy, merely pointing it out to macsporran.. -
try this dated 18.03.2014
unrar it then FTP it across to etc/enigma2
restart
let us know how you get on bud -
I´ve just tested 10º E here on the northern coast of Spain getting a 55% signal fluctuating..
Seems an i***** card is needed so not opening for me..
BBC1- BBC1 delay ,, etc..
forget 27ºw
here´s something that might be of use for them... BBCi Player -
Ok thanks for all the help I have found that 7786 works and apparently it is a quite common password
Glad to hear it and thanks for coming back as it will be useful for other users...
Closed thread -
