    I think you're a real troll

Of course you are quite entitled to your opinion but you should never disregard/disrespect site rules.
Your own native language/culture maybe perhaps is permitted to be rude to others but not here.
The original poster has gone out of his way to help others.
You don´t like it ? Don´t bother following it.
You know better ?? Then prove it by starting your own thread...

Strange the seller sold it with a password protection , only reason I can think of is that they sold it with a "gift/line" already set up..

In DCC, try communicating with it leaving the password blank or openpli...
open DCC and second left hand tab is EXPERTS -> untick "hide login password " see if it shows..
if not then I would reflash because that way I know there are no "backdoors" left open where the seller could easily access...

Depending on the age of the image.
Please uninstall the panel you have on by:
    manually FTP to the box,
Go to - usr/lib/enigma2/Plugins/Extensions and remove linuxsat folder.
    restart box
now to install new Linuxsat panel 1.3 -
ftp the IPK to var/volatile/tmp folder
    then telnet command:

    Code
    opkg install /tmp/*.ipk

Once done ,if box does not automatically restart.
You should full restart the box.

What does changing the attributes to 644 do?

changes permissions, read the options as you try it out...
    644 is tighter..

    try this 2.3.0 ipk:
    CCcam 2.3.0 ipk

You still haven´t mentioned which image or version so you need to read a little for your image:
    CCcam Support
but usually there are three folders:
    /ETC for CCcam.cfg , ( chmod 644)
    /usr/bin for cam 239 mips (chmod 755)
    /usr/script cam230.sh (chmod 755)
but depending on the image, it may vary for CCcam.cfg
Very strange it should crash the box..

    try this 2.3.0 ipk:

In your excellent instructions what does
"replace the line p:BBC with what is posted in the list"
    and example please

    The lamedb list :
    4540:0cfdace7:1000:0001:25:0
    Channel 5 HD
    p:BBC,c:001901,c:031901,c:050001,c:121902,C:2600,f:4

27.5 west on e2 openpli image
following guides over the site and net
    I have four files :

    Code
    bbc_pmt_starter.sh
    bbc_pmt_v4.py
    enigma2_pre_start.sh
    dvbsnoop in usr/bin chmod 755

send all four files to /usr/bin
right click each file select attributes
    tick 755
    click ok

I have installed from our addons:

    Code
    enigma2-plugin-cams-oscam-ymodv18-56-cccam-2.3.0_openpli_all

and latest softcam keys by sergoja ( to /etc/tuxbox/config )

do not have a 27.5 channel on the tv
put it on any other sat/ channel .

    use dreambox control centre
using ftp go to /etc/enigma2/lamedb (the e2 folder where lamedb resides)
    dont open the lamedb file
now click telnet in dcc to put commands in

    type init 4
    press enter on keyboard
that stops enigma2 running (fta channel freezes)

    How to modify/correct lamedb:
right click it then click edit
at the top of the screen click edit then search
    paste this in

    4540:0cfdace7:1000:0001:25:0

    it will find this

    4540:0cfdace7:1000:0001:25:0
    Channel 5 HD
    p:BBC....

replace the line p:BBC with what is posted in the list

now click ftp in dcc again
and send the corrected/modified lamedb file to /etc/enigma2 on your box
    overwrite the old one
attributes for the lamedb are 644
at the top of the screen click file save and exit
You need to do this with most of the channels on 27.5w

click the telnet tab and type

    init 3

    to restart enigma2

    In lamedb:

    Code
with the latest CATSEYE all sats this is how I have adjusted/amended the lamedb:
If anyone can see any faults, I would love to find out as most but not all are opening¿?¿? Yes, keys are up to date

I´ve probably forgotten some step(s) so always open to correction..
Special thanks to ozzsurf, Davvo , lacierva and the many more who have contributed...
