unrar this and yo will see 2 folders inside the etc folder:
enigma 2 and tuxbox
ftp them over to their respective places in /etc
restart box.

You can install this ipk ( motorised) over into var/volatile/tmp and then press green -yellow
manually install ipk packages.
it should reboot
then enjoy.. -
I now realise you are using bh 179 which is ancient ,,so you would not use the
Quotemips32el.ipk
as you use oe1.6...
instead you would needQuotemipsel.ipk
in other words you either stick with what you have or update to the latest or at least oe2.xxx images
this could be the answer to the problem

Hay Bloto22, I have installed the image, nice, but one thing I cannot find is the oscam.server file you speak of, I have checked the var/keys folder and can see the other files oscam.user etc but no oscam.server?
Any help would be grat as I want to test other images besides Hyper v3 as the emu manger keeps dropping my connection.thanks

not quite sure what you are really asking ,
but if you are asking how to save the scan simply come out of it and restart the stb.
it wll be there ,if you press arrow UP > menu> you will see options for channel list menu..
If you press arrow UP then green button> you will go to sat 28.2 ..... NEW and you will see latest added channels -
Just a thought have you been restarting after every change??
It prob will be the quickest in the end to reflash if you have a recent backup..
and start afresh... -
In the zipfile are two Py file, the ftp them over and put them in "/ usr/lib/python2.7" manually and then it might work after a reboot.

usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/Extensions .. delete the folder..
Go to linuxsat-support Addons plugin > plugins and download from there..
reboot system.. -
Copy enigma2-plugin-mhw2epgdownloader_1.0.12b_all.ipk to /tmp
Telnet execute command:Codeopkg install enigma2-plugin-mhw2epgdownloader_1.0.12b_all.ipk
Once installed and rebooted we will find "Digital+ Spain (Astra 19,2E)" in "Script providers"
Yellow to download + Green to save.
Initially it takes a few minutes from start to finish.
We will then find we have a 3 day epg at least.
If we have any other provider scripts timed to download we go to "providers start order"
we put in order whichever we want to start epg downloading first ,second ,etc...
then press Green to save and exit... -

The "official "wifi stick is a usb 300N , I posted it somewhere in VU+ section when the ultimo came out...
the difference of a built in wifi, like in the duo2, comes in handy and doesn´t take up a usb port,,thats about it...
an external usb stick might come with an antenna which could win some extra gain depènding on where the stb will be placed..

Astra28.xºEast Bands
For anyone interested to see where the signal is possible in Europe.
As you can see the epicentre is the UK.
The heavy deep red bands are the weakest signals where it´s next to impossible to recieve any signal
The following inbetween lines are the "ripples" of signal strength.

Guys I tested someone far away form my country , and now Is 0.400. :) Also When he is "OK" , but not in active clients , only in clients , does it mean that he is using another cline to decrypt the channels.?
It could mean that your peer either clears channels from another peer , isn´t viewing what your server has to offer.
The ecm time is quite average depending on which local card you are sharing with the peer.
I suggest you start reading all baout what you are interested in as it has already been documented by using the searchbar top right corner ,
enter key words in your search not exact words ,for example :Quotemy peer connects to me with ecm times of 0.400
..
instead just write the key words :Quoteecm time.
..

I have an DM800HDse clone with GP3.0.39-r2-dm800se-sr4-2012-01-03-sim2-SSL-84b.nfi on it.
I tried numerous of images they al respond the same, also my spare tuner (ALPS RevM)
I have been able to scan the hotbird transponders and received a lot of services but I also want the services of Astra 23.5.
I'm now currently locked on the 23.5 but the only services I receive are from transponder:
12525.00 V 14 Europe DVB-S QPSK 27500 3/4I used the site below for reference.
http://en.kingofsat.net/sat-astra3b.phpI am not able to scan the other transponder, I can only find 9 services.
Are you suppose to get a lock on all of those transponders? I dont even get the FTA channels.
Am I aligning my dish (selfsat H30d2) wrong?gr.
