more than likely because the .xml hasn´t been updated...
in other words , the streams that were once working are now closed/finished..
try mediaportal now ;)

Is there such a way to be able to do same with openpli based plugins to work/convert on BH 2.xxx ?
for example a plugin that does show up on long blue in bh but not in plugins folder:::then greenscreens..
would be much appreciated and save me a lifetime trying to figure it out ;)

I imagine solo2 is similar to other vu+´s...
turn up the volume manually on the solo2 box itself then resstart the box from switch..
it should save the setting from memory.

I have come across same error message several times,especially when using Bh,,
so what I do now is put image on BH image on flash then enter "universe"( after setting up a 4gb usb stick to media/usb)
then go into "avalon"(which will use media/usb) and live( stay/ use) as general image for adding plugins and addons...
flash will only contain the image ,nothing else..
there are tutorials about this in vu tutorials
if I ever get enough time I will make a backup

First of all, be careful with details of writing such as CAPITALS,,as this can change everything...
perhaps ,depending on where you downloaded/installed from ,they might have been directed to your extensions folder..
/usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/Extensions.....
or..
in media/usb
Anyhow
there should be a folder in usr/share/enigma2 called ....piconlcd

If you dont have the folder there ,create one then add this attached .png to it...
FULL reboot and you should be back to normal ;)

Your /tmp folder is getting big ?? ¿ from what exactly ??
Some files are essential for the image to work ,
so you would need to list exactly what is making it bigger..
the more info you give the more info you get.

as you have just found out and as previously mentioned ,, TS panel isnt compatible with openpli based images..
check in extensions to see if the folder is there..
if not, you just have to reinstall it if you really do want to use it..

I´ve just followed your steps and can download no problem then FULL reboot and see plugin installed..

FTP to the box , usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/Extensions and see if the plugins are there,,
if not then
I suggest you save all your personal configs ,settings ,etc,, and reflash the box ..
obviously downloads aren´t being mapped correctly...(meaning they arent installing correctly in the correct folder.)
