To make a backup ,,, make sure after installing the usb stick that you have it correctly mapped to media/usb
( you do this by pressing blue button twice and look for DEVICES manager..press RED to mount it(map it)
then make a full reboot ,
then menu- backup -FULL backup and wait for a while until it tells you it has backed up successfully
(on UNO there are always 2 backups made, 1 with date + the other called vuplus)
you will find the backup in media/usb ,so FTP to media/usb and send it somewhere on your pc safe...

As the title says ,,
I have tried updating over net from BH server.
When the UNO reboots, it stays in a loop,never getting to boot properly.
The only thing that comes to mind is no space left !!
101mbs total ,image takes up 92mbs
At the moment, bh 2.0.2 meoboot revenge takes up 96% flash ,56% on RAM with only basic needed plugins
USB with swap is only 10% full.
¿Has anyone else encountered this problem yet ??

The clue to where you are going wrong is that this thread is for the DEVIXIFIED version....
To get the compatible version for your image ,I suggest you look at your image feeds ..

after FTPing hte file into /tmp you need to go :
menu-ADDONS-MANUALLY INSTALL Ipk packages..
this will then install it , exit from there and then press BLUE once ,
use arrows to change the Cam reader to 2.3.0
either the stb will reboot by itself or you need to reboot it manually.

Are you following all instructions??
Did you install all the dependencies???
You haven´t stated which image or version you´re tryng with...
add it to your signature..
HERE is everything you need if you are not using an open pli image..

try this out and tell us what happens...
FTP the catseye ipk to /tmp then in TELNET :

opkg install -force-overwrite /tmp/Catseye-E2-Settings-File-75-East-45-West-15.03.2013.ipk

let us know how you get on..

Empty the log file from time to time or after you have revised it..
Apart from asking nicely there´s not a lot of choice for you ,
apart from drastic actions like changing host..

Ts panel is about as stable as any other addon,,v 6.9 is the most recent and CAN be added to vix images but once you have it on,,,
the image acts up,, if you do install it then forget upgrading vix online ..
You will probably read somewhere that there is no need for TS panel on vix images as the vix feeds have all one would need,
pity they are not all updated though..,

you can use AutoBouquetMaker for your region yourself ,if you havent got it ,then look in feeds or extensions.
as for picons ,I´m sure somebody will get round to it sooner or later or have a go yourself using

I was referring to the image,,the latest Bh image is at 2.0.2..
but you can go to BH download plugins and you will find youtube plugin

I dont recall any probs with youtube on bh175 but I would suggest to update your version..

Meoboot is an excellent plugin for using more than 1 image on your stb...
