    Apparently the web interface was kept open and the lines have been shared.


    Affirmative.. webif is open port :80
    follow the steps Master G has given you and you will start everything fresh..
    before you change anything ,make a copy of your lines, etc so you can easily transfer them to the new image.
    If you are not sure ,then use a backup which has been made by a team member..
    or simply ask here and we will try get you all the way through process .

  • More arrests for cardsharing

    Two new cases of the practice of piracy known as Cardsharing card sharing or have been brought to justice in the Czech Republic and Sl***kia.


    The cases involved theft UPC DTH services, enabling illicit reception of payment services UPC.


    After criminal complaints filed by UPC DTH, whose parent company Liberty Global is a member of AAPA (Audiovisual Piracy Alliance), the issue was addressed in collaboration with I***** conditional access provider to Freesat system services and authorities local police in the Czech Republic and Sl***kia.


    The action led to successful prosecutions. The defendants both pleaded guilty and accepted the agreements obliging them to pay UPC DTH several thousand Euros in compensation.

    The defendants were distributing the keys to third decoding pay TV programs through Internet Freesat. Users were able to watch the programs without subscription, adapted illegitimately using set top boxes or private boxes suitable for piracy activities.

    I would most definetly check my server security if in fact this is true,,
    because there is only one way of changing a password and thats manually !!!!!
    read the security stickies in cardsharing section for the how-tos....
    in fact my friend , after checking,,you have too many open doors to your duo..
    close every port except the one you use to serve..

  • Setting up a Fixed and Motorized dish on VU+ Solo 2

    I´m sure there is an easier way than what i´m going to write here:
    have up to date settings -I use catseye-
    menu-setup-service searching-positioner setup-Go to -WEST-
    -save-exit to channel and wait.
    first time to setup a motor is from 0º ,my most southern sat is thor 0,8w.
    hope that helps .. not to confuse you anymore !!

I have downloaded ubuntu on one of my pc's and installed it i also installed dyn ,dyn updater, putty , winscp etc on my other pc and most of the things are done correctly i also bought an omnikey cardreader which i set up at least it is recognising something.     before you go any further...
    not sure about the image you have on ,but look through the menus see if there is an option to delete crashlogs..
    or if you have TS panel ,,tools 2 - crash reader... teh ntools 1 to delete crashlog files...
    or
    go into var or tmp look for a folder called log(s) or crashlog(s) then empty them...
    they could be taking up all your vital space..
    cant think of any other options at the moment..

  • Stab girlfriend, burn box

    judging by the posts/comments on these stbs..
    I think it is more a hobbyists to tinker with rather than an end-user to watch TV stb....
    it cant take that long to reflash can it??
    I only mention it as sometimes a full flash can go wrong in the process and become corrupt..
    I owuld try another flash,,but thats me..lol
