Firmware upgrade instructions
1. Download the latest firmware update. Place this on your USB flash drive and insert into your OpenBox S10 HD PVR.
Backup your existing satellite settings and channels (optional)
Go to MENU > TOOLS > DUMP BY USB. Use left or right arrow to select MISC FILES, then arrow down to SELECT & DUMP. Press the OK key.
Press the GREEN key to select TP_PROG.dbs, then press the YELLOW key to copy data to your USB.
Go to MENU > TOOLS > UPGRADE BY USB. Arrow down to “Upgrade File” and select the file you downloaded. It will start with S10-(date).abs, for example S10-50172011.abs Then arrow down to “Start” and press the OK key. When prompted to burn flash, select “yes” and press OK key.
Your S10 will reboot. Confirm successful upgrade by looking at the background image, it has changed.
Configure your satellites and settings, scan, and watch TV. If you wish to restore your previous data:
To restore your channels/satellite settings
Navigate to MENU > TOOLS > UPGRADE BY USB. Then press OK key
Press RIGHT ARROW once to change to “Misc Files”, arrow down once to “Select & upgrade”. Press OK key.
Use the GREEN key on the remote to check TP_PROG.dbs, then press the YELLOW key to upgrade. After upgrade, hit the EXIT key until you get the “No Channels” message.
Use the remote to power down your S10. After 10 seconds, turn it back on, and your channels/satellite setting should be restored to the new Firmware. -

go from var/tuxbox/ open config folder there you will see ENIGMA -> /etc/enigma inside this you will see file config ..write mouse to edit , inside this you will see for example: i:/elitedvb/DVB/config/lnbs ,,etc,
one of these here is where you will find the parent lock
or simply go to var/etc/enigma and right mouse click config:

it does seem strange that the subtitles are running ahead of the audio..its usually the opposite..
haven´t found anything about it yet..let us know if you do

Due to the latest drivers that have appeared, and the new updating of the FPGA, already the times can be seen ECM, that until previously they could not be seen, the box did not start.
For it to work, substitute the file “libgcc_s.so" that is in lib\ by the one that is enclosed further down. ...and restart.
Also I have modified the card index of configuration of the plugin of Sergiotas (mhw2epgdownloader) so to catch the epg of all the channels HD, that by defect TNT-HD and some others weren´t caught. ...
For it to work, substitute the file “mhw2epgdownloader.conf" that you find (if already installed and functioning, obviously) in usr\crossepg\scripts\mhw2epgdownloader by the one that I add further down:

providors change CAIDS , channels change SIDS ,new channels and old channels which changes the PRIO settings.
sometimes the lists are just addons to an already existing list ,other times they are full lists...

If the lnb is that old then for little money replace the lnb .. I would also suggest revising at the cable/ F connections..for corrosion,etc,
look at the posts about setups and you´ll get a better idea of what is working these days.. -
The cline on the box is definately working and should be going straight to my server box at my house?
Whose cline,?? from your mums box??so how do you know its "definately" working???when looking at cccaminfo the two lines i put on are offline / red dot.
What 2 lines?? the c + F ?? try new lines,,check port(s) opened in router + .cfg ..
is your mums synchronised to the IP ? use the updater.. -

¿are you having probs adding CCcam?? use the searchbar top right corner -
if the third can clear other ppv channels then its not internet but the configuration of the box..
¿ has it got prio ?? ¿have the channel list and providors been updated liek the others?
¿is the 3rd got its own cline from the server or is it down hops from another??
