totally black no,,it is showing you the box the root is connected to:
for example ,mine is root@dm500plus:?> then you type: passwd (then press enter)
then a message will come up changing password for root ( enter the new password minimum of 5, max of 8 characters)
then ENTER new password:
??perhaps you have telnet port closed ??
look in your .cfg for :
#ALLOW TELNETINFO: no
#TELNETINFO USERNAME : <username>
#TELNETINFO PASSWORD : <password>
remember that :
# default port for telnet is 16000
check yours out...

something I came across in a friend?s box today:
to activate the USB DVB/T :
blues / red / manage dvb-tc adapter / turn on pilot 0 to 1..
DM will restart , configure the penstick to scan channels/frequencies..

in other words that if you want to control the times of access to your serverthis is one way of doing it. you?ll find it in you CCcam.fg.
? why would you want to do this?? if a peer is connected to a "sportschannel" for a specific event which ends at 8pm and is still connected at 2am ( or any "unreasonable" time) then .cfg controls this by "closing the tap" which can de opened by using the same method..

the only "freeserver" is a "sharingserver"! sharing is caring!!!!

check your TP settings in TP edit after you?ve added it into your sat config?? ?or you simply dwnld directly from hannibal????
then see if it is locked + sync?d on the sat..

openbox ,,possible rebooting stuck on HD channel?? change channel list.
it seems theres a lot of common probs with openbox channellist + slysportsHD

Connected clients : 9 ( although you have total 11 clines)
Total handled client ecm's : 164717 -- WOW .. seems your clients are all virtuals leaving on their boxes 24/7 on a pay channel while also passing it on to their respective clients.....
fIRST THING I WOULD DO : lock down to who is using the most( as TEN mentioned before)and not give reshare,,,,
second :: filter out any of the "overused" channels in the flines.....obviously somebody has a likening to certain channels..
but then again that?s just me.......
but by any means or standards ,,Total handled LOCAL ecm's : 158169 / 161335 (98%) is way to much for a 7.5 daytrip for any local.......

suggestion: use the shorter list of the two: either sid assign OR sid reject BUT DO NOT use the two together..

Basically it means that your server is doing overtime although you haven?t said over what period of time ,how many clients ,etc.......
so it really is hard to tell if it?s good or bad news..as TEN say?s .... you shouldnt need EMMS( in fact unless its for example certain irdetocards which are known troublemakers)..
of course what you are asking is for an opinion,and that is up to each server which is hard to give without the relevant info..

remember some of us are an hour ( or 2) ahead of the UK,,lol........

been following the users reviews of the openbox ,,,it seems to be primarily a client box more than a server/client box.
.so if you?re only going to use it as a client to the main box then you lose 1 hop down(hop1(with reshare) in dm800 gets to 2nd box as hop2)
as I say , it?s what I?ve read up to now...

If at first you don?t succeed ,try ,try again..... keep at it if simply just to try and resolve a "common problem" between so many peers!!
You?d make a lot of users happy ,me for 1 + you for 2 ,lol!!!!!!

in your search engine enter the dream IP ,,enter username + password( I hope its not dreambox) ENIGMA WEB INTERFACE will/ should open,
if you have the the appropiate activeX plugins then click on web_x_tv ( on the left of screen) will open a new window with vision..
I only use vlc 0.86b ( the newer versions don?t open vision window for me (W7x64)??compatibility issues?? ) for the activeX plugins ,not the actual vlc player

sorry cant be more help without more info..
just another thought: put the box to factory settings then see if it at least opens FTA channels(this way you can eliminate the idea of corrupt image)
