My box rebooted/refreshed every morning at 6.50 am. I already keep a backup of my image once I have it at a stable state I am happy with. I've tried various backup images with my own settings and still CCcam 2.3.0 will freeze after a short while. The only clue I have to the problem is, if I take out the Flines/clines( I'm pretty sure it was the Flines) then CCcam doesn't freeze. I don't know what I can do to solve this annoying problem.

If it were an F line....¿NO near misses with similar users or passwords??
it might be worth your while hashing out ( #) each line or viceversa hash out all but one fline til you find the culprit..
Something else would be to try a different version of CCcam2.3.0... not the one you are using...
and remember attributes to the CCcam.cfg is always 644...

PLuginskinmover is another option

if you have a good signal snr+ Ber , then check your configs as at least one of your peers should clear channels if you don´t have said local card..

Hotbird is 13º EAST of south so when you are looking at front of dish it will be on your right side of south alignment..
another thing ,,
in your lat / long remember that if long is for example -3.xxxx then in your tuner USALS positioner it should say 003.XXX WEST
LATITUDE 050.XXX then you set it 050.XXX NORTH

the DUO2 has more ram than you´ll need currently...so that idea of swapfile ,etc was for older models with memory leaks etc, like my old UNO..
I find that Cccam 2.3.0 needs to be refreshed after 48/72 hours( a quick restart sorts that out...)
if your having probs with flines/clines, perhaps you have gone over the limit with peers¿?
it is understood that around 20 good peers covers more than enough for viewing coverage,,
As a quick test,, FULL backup your image as you have it now... you´ll find the backup in media/hdd and or media/usb named vuplus with date...
install somebody else´s backup and enter your own personal configs and give it a day or two...
if the same problem persists ,then its down to your configs... which can be looked at in more detail...

Maybe you could check the source of your line. ¿ is it a cline / nline??
You say its working perfectly in an STB.. so which image/oscam version are you using in that?
try using the same ..

If on PPV only: check emu configs and source of peers line or local card setup,,,

NO bud .. on a duo you cannot run kodidirekt,( a modded version of kodi),as theres not enough processing power..
As for w XP ,, you can run XBMC which is the predecessor of kodi..

I have used Fbox,( faulty s/w after a few months) Mars box(used daily by a teenager), wetek ( sitting with openelec on an SD card hardly ever used) and have just recieved the new Mars box MSll android HD se which will get around to using..
As for Enigma boxes, vu+DUO2 has kodi-direkt installed but I never use it...

I suggest you install KODI onto your PC and toy around with it all you like installing/uninstalling all/any repos you fancy
This way you already know what your PC is limited to ( graphics card, processor,etc )

without having to eliminate the usual teething problems from another box and end up disillusioned by the box itself ...

to use a cline from CCcam in Oscam you need to convert the line first..

I imagine you have done this already?
Adding the converted C line / [reader] to oscam.server is not enough..
You also need dvbapi parameter enabled in oscam.conf and an [account] setup for it in oscam.user
